LLM-scCurator is a Python framework for preparing marker gene lists for zero-shot cell-type annotation with large language models. It suppresses recurrent low-specificity signals and retains or recovers informative markers before annotation. The framework supports single-cell and spatial transcriptomic workflows. The repository includes benchmark evaluation scripts, label mappings, scoring configurations, and source data accompanying the revised manuscript, including external validation using the Human Lung Cell Atlas.

This repository contains MATLAB code and representative sample datasets supporting the manuscript “Event2Flow: Scalable imaging of peripheral and cerebral hemodynamics with event-based vision sensors”. The provided scripts were tested on a Windows 11 system. To facilitate testing, the raw event streams in the sample datasets were converted into CSV or multi-TIFF files.
The code package and sample datasets include the following:
1. Generate event count mapsSample data 1: mouse ear imaging acquired under speckle mode.
2. Fixed-pattern noise suppression and background activity filterSample data 2: mouse brain imaging acquired with a hybrid vision sensor following particle injection.
3. Render structure/velocity/direction mapsThe open-source TrackNTrace toolbox is required for localization and tracking [1]. The provided scripts perform subsequent reconstruction and visualization using the resulting trajectories.Sample data 3: mouse brain imaging acquired with an event-based vision sensor following particle injection.
4. Render structure/direction maps using a polarity-based methodSample data 3: mouse brain imaging acquired with an event-based vision sensor following particle injection.
5. Calibrate depth and rotation angleSample data 4: fluorescent particles deposited on a glass slide and imaged at different axial positions.
6. Render structure/velocity/depth mapsSample data 5: mouse brain imaging with an event-based vision sensor following particle injection.

Background: This study examines how selected regulatory instruments and implementation principles from the European Union circular-economy framework can be adapted to strengthen the operational effectiveness of environmental regulation in Peru.
Methods: The study combines documentary and comparative regulatory analysis, semi-structured interviews with two key institutional informants from PRODUCE and MINAM, and a complementary bibliometric review of 2404 open-access Scopus-indexed documents processed with bibliometrix/Biblioshiny.
Results: The bibliometric corpus showed an annual growth rate of 45.71%, with 91.8% of publications concentrated in 2020–2025 and 32.7% international co-authorship. The co-word network positioned circular economy as the main bridging node and connected sustainability, the European Union, policy implementation, and regulatory frameworks, while consolidated clusters around waste management and life-cycle analysis remained visible. The EU–Peru comparison showed that Peru has expanded its formal circularity architecture but still faces gaps in enforceability, measurement, product traceability, and institutional coordination. Triangulation supported seven context-sensitive measures, including sector-specific EPR strengthening, auditable circularity reporting, Digital Product Passport pilots, ecodesign, an operational waste hierarchy, circularity criteria in environmental assessment, and performance-linked incentives.
Conclusions: The findings support selective and sequenced regulatory adaptation rather than direct transplantation of the EU model.

Aggregated data and source code reproducing the analyses of "Extreme heat and pneumonia mortality in Brazil, 2014–2024: a nationwide case-crossover study of 877,000 deaths".
The study asks whether pneumonia mortality responds disproportionately to extreme heat compared with other natural causes. It uses a time-stratified case-crossover design (location × year × month × day of week) with conditional Poisson regression and sandwich standard errors clustered by federative unit. The data are all 877,094 deaths with pneumonia (ICD-10 J12–J18) as the underlying cause in the Brazilian Mortality Information System, across all 27 federative units, 2014–2024.
Exposure has two definitions:- Primary: the top decile of state-level maximum temperature within the same month.- Secondary: an INMET-based heatwave criterion (≥2 days ≥5 °C above a locally computed mean), applied per municipality with station data interpolated within 50 km.Both use extreme heat on the day of death or the three preceding days (lags 0–3).
Results:- Monthly decile: the pneumonia RR was 1.047 (95% CI 1.034–1.060), versus 1.017 for other natural deaths. Ratio of RRs: 1.029 (1.015–1.044).- INMET-based criterion: 1.092 (1.058–1.128) versus 1.043, ratio 1.047 (1.011–1.084).- Timing: excess risk concentrated on lags 0–4, with no compensatory deficit up to 14 days.- Season: it was higher in November–March (1.177) than in June–August (1.021).- Age: among adults, it varied less with age than for other natural causes. Conclusions hold under a wild cluster score bootstrap.
The deposit contains:- Unit-day and municipality-day death-count panels.- INMET temperature and precipitation series.- Python code producing every table, figure and number.- Reference outputs.
Individual DATASUS microdata are not redistributed. A provenance file lists the 303 .dbc files and 12 annual INMET archives with SHA-256.
