Predicting when maritime systems requiremaintenance can be critical, avoiding hazards and costlyconsequences. To address this problem, this paper proposes anexplainable decision-making framework that integrates aneuro-fuzzy prediction model with a two-stage explainablecomponent. The first stage of this component produces featureattribution explanations, using gradient-based saliency maps,and the second stage extracts local rules using a fuzzy decisiontree. The proposed framework is generic and can be integratedinto any deep learning-based approach, rendering itexplainable. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first fuzzylogic-based framework enabling both feature-level and localrule-based explanations of black box models. This approachaims to foster trustworthiness in decision making through userunderstandable machine inferences. The performance of theproposed framework using a deep residual-based neuralbackbone is evaluated on various general-purpose publicbenchmark datasets, and its utility in maritime is demonstratedin the context of early fault detection in a naval propulsionsystem dataset. The results indicate that it can providepredictions outperforming relevant state-of-the-art approaches,with an average AUC-ROC (Area Under the ReceiverOperating Characteristic Curve) value, reaching up to 99%,while offering the advantage of explainability.

Mexico's Cuarta Transformación (4T) is usually read as one instance of a global illiberal turn. This article argues instead that the Mexican constitutional conflict is internal to the liberal-republican tradition: rival projects each claim the mantle of liberalism to define who counts as 'the people'. Drawing on scholarship on popular and plebeian liberalism in Spanish America, it shows that the 4T advances by appropriating a popular, Juarista liberalism against a proprietary one it codes as neoporfirista. Four frameworks — comparative law, legitimation theory, alterity and imagined communities — are applied to presidential discourse, three constitutional reforms and political cartoons, and synthesised through a Constitutional Legitimacy Vector (CLV). The appropriation reconfigures who counts as 'the people' and why citizens obey, producing a structural decoupling resistant to procedural resolution. The case refines the theory of illiberalism: Latin American populism can operate through appropriation of the liberal lineage, not its negation.

This repository accompanies the manuscript “Spatial resolution can reverse scientific conclusions in Earth observation”. It contains the processed analytical data, Source Data, evidence-group mapping, source-location and bibliographic records, analysis and figure-generation code, software/environment information, fixed random seeds, publication figures, reproducibility documentation, and file checksums.The primary synthesis comprises 496 directly comparable ranking or sign contrasts from 20 papers and 19 independent analytical groups, including 35 conclusion reversals and 461 non-reversals. Nine of the 19 groups contained at least one reversal. Giving each independent group equal weight, the mean within-group reversal proportion was 10.16% (95% percentile interval from 10,000 whole-group bootstrap replicates, 3.68–18.20%). Six classification comparisons from three additional groups retain separate eligible-unit denominators and are not pooled with the ranking/sign evidence. A group-weighted resolution-ratio analysis of 484 contrasts from 18 groups did not support a monotonic association (odds ratio per doubling of linear support = 0.987; 95% interval, 0.621–2.002).The archive supports the conclusion that substantive scientific interpretations can differ across spatial supports within matched Earth-observation evidence. It does not estimate a universal Earth-observation reversal prevalence, establish a resolution-only causal effect, identify a preferred resolution route, or define a universal resolution threshold.Copyrighted source articles and publisher supplementary files are not redistributed; bibliographic identifiers and source locations are provided instead.

Extraction of crude extracts from the selected herbs followed by formulation and evaluation of herbal gel and lastly assessment of anti-inflammatory activity. Cold Maceration extraction method was employed for the extraction of Nyctanthes arbor-trist and menthol for the ratio of (1:5). Formulation of herbal gel by using Nyctanthes arbor-trist extract, HPMC, methyl paraben, propyl paraben and glycerin. The formulation was then evaluated by several tests like organoleptic character, pH determination, Homogenecity, Stability studies, Vicosity, Spreadability, Grittiness, Washability test and Skin irritation test. Further formulated gel was investigated for anti-inflammatory activity by using Egg albumin denaturation assay. Herbal gel was prepared and evaluated for various parameters and it showed anti-inflammatory activity also. This gel can be used for care and protection of skin.
