Glacier meltwater changes hydrological connectivity and resource supply in proglacial lakes, but whether microbial genomic potential reflects realized carbon processing under these changing conditions remains unclear. Here, we combined two years of seasonal observations, genome-resolved metagenomics, and Biolog EcoPlate assays to compare microbial carbon-processing potential and realized substrate utilization during glacier-fed (GFD) and non-glacier-fed (NGFD) periods in a Tibetan proglacial lake.

Biases are a large challenge for today’s AI landscape. In the interdisciplinary BIAS project, different detectionand mitigation methods for several European languages have been developed and validated. This paper presents the interdisciplinary approach developed in the project, combining user perspective, as well as developers, technical tests and research.

The flavin-mediated visible-light photocatalytic insertion of CO2 into C(sp2)–H bonds of (hetero)arenes together with dearomative carboxylation was achieved depending on reaction conditions and apllied flavin photocatalyst. Highly reduc ing 5-(o-tolyl)deazaalloxaxine (oMe-dAll) enables efficient access to aryl alkanoic acids and complex three-dimensional carboxylated scaffolds from readily available aromatic substrates.

This document serves as the justification for achieving Milestone 18 (MS18), which marks the development of different models for CSS or HF in two different clinical settings. The main objective is to show the scientific output the project has currently generated and illustrate the ongoing work regarding the model development. Ongoing development and validation of the diagnosis and referral support models using the DataTools4Heart FL platform will continue and is detailed in deliverable 7.1 (D7.1).

Abstract
The rapid diffusion of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools into higher education has introduced a new axis of inequality that extends beyond the conventional “digital divide.” While earlier scholarship focused on disparities in internet connectivity and device ownership, this study argues that access alone no longer captures the full picture of educational inequality in the AI era. It proposes the concept of an “AI Divide” — a multidimensional gap encompassing who has access to AI tools, who possesses the digital literacy to use them effectively, who derives genuine academic benefit, and how these disparities generate new forms of exclusion.
Situated within Indian higher education — a context marked by significant socioeconomic, regional, and institutional diversity — the study draws on a randomly sampled cohort of 111 students to examine AI tool adoption, competence, and perceived academic impact. It investigates the factors shaping unequal access, disparities in skills required for effective academic use, variation in reported academic benefit, and the mechanisms through which AI adoption creates or reinforces existing educational inequalities.
Drawing on the sociology of education and digital-inequality literature — including cultural capital, the “second-level digital divide,” and algorithmic literacy — this research moves the discourse from a binary understanding of access to a nuanced analysis of usage, skill, and outcome disparities, contributing to policy discussions on equitable AI integration in the Global South.

This dataset contains raw UHPLC–MS/MS data from tomato leaf phytohormone analyses in control plants and plants colonized with various types of fungi. Each treatment was represented by three independent biological replicates. Phytohormones were analysed by UHPLC–MS/MS using an Acquity UPLC I-Class system coupled to a Xevo TQ-XS triple quadrupole mass spectrometer. The deposited files are mass spectrometry data converted to the open mzML format and contain the acquired chromatographic and mass spectrometric signals used for subsequent targeted phytohormone quantification.

Abstract. The paper examines whether the workload of a state civil servant is a legal category forming part of the conditions of civil service or merely a managerial matter. Analysis of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On State Civil Service” shows that working time beyond normal hours is regulated, while additional assignments within a position, their scope, duration, documentation and compensation are not. Survey data show that 41% of civil servants report a mismatch between actual and established working time and 43% regularly perform tasks outside their job description. A model linking position, functions, duties, additional assignments and compensatory consequences is proposed, together with legislative amendments.
