Materials used during the FAIR Clinic: Prepare Software for Publishing, delivered as part of the event FAIR Clinics: From Principles to Practice organised by the UMCG Digital Competence Center (DCC) on 8 October 2026.   This workshop supports researchers in preparing repository for publishing software to support sharing, publication, reuse, and citation. Participants work through practical activities focused on repository structure, documentation, licensing, software citation, and other elements that support FAIR and reusable software.

During the 2024 and 2025 field seasons in Makeyevka (Donetsk People's Republic), the factors determining the severity of horse chestnut leaf mining by Cameraria ohridella were investigated. The sum of effective temperatures (SET) is the key factor determining the level of leaf mining damage, and this relationship is nonlinear: while an increase in SET stimulates an expansion of the mined leaf area, the rate of damage accumulation decelerates at high SET values. The combination of high illumination and group planting promotes mine development to a greater extent than shading and solitary planting. The study revealed no statistically significant effect of autumn leaf litter removal. However, this conclusion is limited by the sampling design: the leaf removal factor was spatially confounded with specific locations, making it statistically impossible to disentangle the effect of the agrotechnical practice itself from that of local environmental conditions.

This study evaluates the impact of transitioning from FP64 to 8-bit floating-point (FP8 E4M3) for image reconstruction using autoencoders. To address energy and memory constraints in edge computing, we apply Post-Training Quantization with dynamic scaling (range 448). Although quantization increases Mean Squared Error slightly, perceptual quality remains acceptable. Memory use per parameter drops by 87.5%, drastically reducing computational load while preserving utility. The findings confirm that low-precision formats enable efficient AI deployment on resource-limited devices, allowing embedded vision systems to operate with significantly lower energy overhead

This record provides a working prototype of the stochastic–compositional framework for assessing model-based degradation in networks of cybersecurity services. The code implements the local two-rate GI/M/1 model with hysteresis, stationary degradation measures, routing-weighted structural composition, functional aggregation, and resource-reinforcement criteria described in the accompanying manuscript.The record also contains the Figure 8 reproducibility package. Its prepared inputs, calibrated parameters, routing matrices, fixed random seeds, analysis scripts and numerical outputs permit the controlled-host experiment to be rerun. The experiment examines chronological trace replay, moving-block resampling, alternative service-work distributions, changing routing and four path operators using CIC-IDS2017 and UNSW-NB15 data.The package supports reproduction from its prepared inputs. Creating those inputs anew from the complete public flow corpora requires a separate upstream data-transformation step, which is not included in this record.
