We report the developments obtained after PIHR–GOLDBACH XVII (Gold-17) in a continuing attempt to isolate a rigorous analytic route toward the binary Goldbach conjecture. Gold-17 reduced the principal obstruction to a four-weight determinant problem arising after centered Parseval, Jutila–Poisson normalization, signed Heath–Brown switching, and a spectral Möbius–Hecke formulation. The subsequent analysis developed a different but compatible route based on a factorization of the relevant displacement variable as r=ah. This converts the decisive fixed-N correlation into a local mean-square problem for Möbius sums in arithmetic progressions.
The resulting local Möbius Barban–Davenport–Halberstam problem has the correct diagonal scale, but known hybrid short-progression estimates lose a factor of approximately A - N^0.5. Averaging over the modulus variable before applying the hybrid large sieve improves the discrepancy to the shorter factor A/L.

ABSTRACT
Gaps in health surveillance systems expose the shortage of real-time data required for public health decision‑making. Non‑traditional data (NTD) from citizen science can help bridge these gaps, but such data are often affected by heterogeneous sampling effort and spatiotemporal biases. This study investigates how NTD from the Mosquito Alert citizen science platform can be used to accurately model the distribution of the common house mosquito, Culex pipiens, a competent vector for West Nile virus across Europe. We address the inherent sampling biases of opportunistic data by applying thermal niche filters and using sampling effort as a proxy to generate reliable inferred-absences. Our findings demonstrate that citizen observations outdoors yield the most ecologically consistent predictions when validated against independent trap data, whereas indoor observations reflect the host-seeking and shelter-seeking behavior of mosquitoes combined with more opportunistic sampling by citizens. By accounting for spatial and temporal heterogeneity, we provide a methodological framework for integrating citizen-contributed images into public health surveillance. Ultimately, the research proves that carefully filtered citizen science data can enhance the resolution of species distribution models for critical disease vectors.

The transition from elementary to junior high school exposes Grade 7 students, particularly those enrolled under the Education Service Contracting (ESC) program, to significant academic, social, emotional, and environmental adjustments as they move from public elementary schools into private junior high institutions. Difficulties in this transition can affect students' academic performance and emotional well-being, and may even influence their decision to remain enrolled, as reflected in the declining re-enrollment rates observed among ESC grantees in some private schools in Cagayan de Oro City. This study aimed to determine the relationship between Grade 7 students' school adaptation and their academic strengths in selected private schools in Cagayan de Oro City. Specifically, it sought to determine the extent of the respondents' school adaptation in terms of self, teacher, and environment; the extent of their academic strengths in terms of cognitive, emotional, social, and support factors; and whether a significant relationship exists between the two variables. The study employed a quantitative, descriptive-correlational research design conducted among 187 Grade 7 ESC grantee students from four selected private schools in Cagayan de Oro City, drawn through purposive (total enumeration) sampling. Data were gathered using standardized questionnaires validated for local use and were treated statistically using mean and standard deviation to describe the levels of adaptation and academic strengths, and Pearson r to test the significance of the relationship between the two variables. Findings revealed that the respondents' school adaptation was generally high, with the highest ratings given to adaptation to teachers, followed by the school environment and the self. Their academic strengths were likewise rated high, with support emerging as the strongest domain, followed by social, cognitive, and emotional strengths. Results further showed a significant positive relationship between school adaptation and academic strengths, indicating that the higher the students' adaptation, the stronger their academic strengths; the null hypothesis was therefore rejected. This suggests that students who feel supported by their teachers and are comfortable in their school environment are better able to draw on their own cognitive, emotional, social, and support resources to succeed academically. The study concludes that effective school adaptation plays a crucial role in strengthening students' academic strengths, underscoring the value of fostering supportive learning environments, strengthening teacher-student relationships, and reinforcing family- and school-based support systems, particularly for ESC grantees transitioning into private education. It is recommended that school administrators and teachers design targeted adjustment and mentoring programs for incoming Grade 7 ESC grantees, that parents strengthen home-based support and communication with schools, and that future researchers examine additional factors affecting school adaptation and academic strengths across a wider range of school settings.

The article presents the results of a study on the distribution, bioecological characteristics, and damage caused by phytophagous mites, particularly the orchard spider mite Schizotetranychus pruni Oudms., in pear orchard agrobiocenoses. During 2024–2025, four species of phytophagous mites were identified in pear orchards: Eriophyes pyri, Briobia redikorzevi, Schizotetranychus pruni, and Tetranychus urticae. Among them, S. pruni and T. urticae were recorded as dominant species with widespread occurrence and high harmfulness in pear orchards. Observations conducted in the “Yusupov Abdumannop” farm in Qibray district showed that the infestation level by spider mites was 12.2% in 2024, with an average yield of 105.2 c/ha, whereas in 2025, when the infestation level increased to 14.6%, the yield decreased to 87.2 c/ha. The presence of entomophagous and acariphagous organisms naturally reducing spider mite populations in pear orchard agrobiocenoses was also established. In areas treated with Vertigo 1.8% EC (abamectin), a sharp decrease in the number of phytophagous mites was accompanied by a reduction in the number of their natural enemies. The results indicate the need to consider the role of natural enemies when monitoring spider mites and developing control measures in pear orchards..

This study examined the relationship between the adequacy of teacher training in inclusive education and the extent of implementation perceived by teachers for students with brain injury in selected schools in Apache County, Arizona. Specifically, it assessed teachers' profiles, the adequacy of inclusive education training in terms of conceptions of diversity, methodology, support, and community participation, and the extent of implementation in terms of knowledge-related, skills-related, and attitude-related barriers. It also determined significant differences based on respondents' profiles, examined the relationship between the two main variables, and proposed a plan to enhance Individualized Education Program (IEP) implementation. The study employed a descriptive-correlational research design involving 70 classroom teachers selected through total enumeration sampling. Data were gathered using a validated researcher-made questionnaire and analyzed using frequency, percentage, weighted mean, standard deviation, independent samples t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson product-moment correlation. The findings revealed that the adequacy of teacher training in inclusive education was generally rated High, with Support receiving the highest mean. Likewise, the perceived extent of implementation barriers was rated High, with Knowledge-Related Barriers obtaining the highest mean. Significant differences in teacher training adequacy were found according to age, years of teaching experience, and trainings attended, while significant differences in perceived implementation were observed across all profile variables. The study also revealed a significant negative relationship between teacher training adequacy and perceived implementation barriers, indicating that higher levels of teacher training were associated with fewer barriers in implementing IEPs for students with brain injury. Based on these findings, a proposed enhancement plan was developed to strengthen teacher competencies and improve inclusive education practices through continuous professional development and effective school support systems.
