Data and code for the study Randomness auditing of lottery draws published in ascending order: order statistics, exact Monte Carlo tests and a per-draw atypicality index.
The deposit contains the consolidated results of 1 182 draws of the Colombian games Baloto and Baloto Revancha (29 September 2021 to 26 September 2026), plus an extended series of 1 268 records, all retrieved from the operator's official website. Each record keeps its own traceability fields: draw number, date and source URL.
It also contains the derived results (per-draw atypicality index, per-number probabilities, coverage sets by frequency threshold), the full analysis workbooks, the generated figures, the 127 archived source HTML pages, the catalogue of draw recordings and the complete analysis code.
Reproducibility: all Monte Carlo procedures use fixed seeds (20260927) and the exact null distributions are obtained by closed-form enumeration and dynamic programming, so re-running the analysis reproduces the published values exactly. Reproduction was verified before deposit.
Licences: CC BY 4.0 for the data, MIT for the code.

Let g=(P,Q,R)=sum_{i=0}^{5} c_i x^{A_i} have six occupied vector coefficients, exactly one of which has nonzero norm for q(P,Q,R)=PQ+R^2. Over every field of characteristic different from two with a real-valued nonarchimedean valuation, we prove that q(g) has at most eleven strict lower Newton edges and at most ten edges of width one. Both maxima are attained simultaneously over every such nontrivially valued field. At every prime, integer examples have coordinate sparsity fourteen and exactly ten simple nonzero local roots of distinct valuations. The dyadic example has 228-bit input coefficients. The upper bound is computer assisted: a generic null-cone perturbation and a rank-three initial-matrix argument reduce the problem to 2,359 marked support patterns. Exact disjunction trees and integer linear identities exclude every pattern, without an exponent or precision cutoff. Six patterns require convexity inequalities forced by equal barycenters of exponent sums. The supplied verifier uses only the Python standard library. We also prove the sharp five-support bound of eight edges and construct, at every prime and every support size n>=8, one-norm examples with 2n+1 edges, of which 2n have width one. The envelope lemmas and the family construction are proved in full.

This study examined the influence of psychosocial therapy in enhancing recovery among drugdependent patients at Ring Road State Hospital, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. It explored how psychosocial interventions contribute to behavioural change, coping strategies, emotional wellbeing, treatment adherence, and recovery outcomes. A mixed-method research design was adopted. Sixty-eight respondents participated, comprising 57 drug-dependent patients and 11 healthcare professionals. Quantitative data were collected using a structured questionnaire, while qualitative data were obtained through an in-depth interview guide. Quantitative data were analysed using descriptive statistics and Chi-square tests in SPSS version 25, while qualitative responses were analysed thematically. Findings showed that 49 (86.0%) patients reported receiving psychosocial treatment, 45 (79.0%) reported improved behaviour, 43 (75.0%) reported improved emotional well-being, 47 (82.0%) reported improved treatment adherence, and 44 (77.0%) reported positive recovery outcomes. Chi-square analysis showed significant relationships between psychosocial treatment and behavioural patterns/coping strategies, and between psychosocial treatment and recovery outcomes (χ²(1) = 11.02, p = 0.001. Qualitative findings further indicated improved self-awareness, emotional regulation, coping, treatment commitment, and social relationships. Participants also identified inadequate staffing and resources, poor family support, stigma, and inconsistent participation as challenges affecting therapy. The study concludes that psychosocial therapy is an important component of recovery-oriented care for drug-dependent patients

Why do some high-ability learners disengage from formal schooling despite strong cognitive capacity, and later develop intense, self-directed, high-complexity learning commitments? Existing motivational theories explain competence protection under conditions of available evaluation (Covington, 1992) and competence growth under conditions of informative feedback (Ryan & Deci, 2000), but they do not theorize a third condition: evaluative opacity, in which performance-relevant information is systematically absent, distorted, or, most consequentially, deliberately withheld by significant others. This paper develops the Compensatory Meaning Systems (CMS) model, a process account in which prolonged opacity produces a cluster of parallel, reciprocally linked responses. These responses include competence-estimate uncertainty (the cognitive component), achievement emotions such as boredom, anxiety, frustration, and resentment (the affective component), amotivation and the devaluation of schoolwork (the motivational component), and, under deliberate concealment, erosion of trust in the evaluative source (the relational component). The central claim of the model is that these responses are not stations on a single chain and do not lead to different outcomes. They are parallel, partly substitutable routes, any one of which, alone or in combination, can motivate the same constructive outcome: internally generated criteria of learning value that substitute for the missing external criterion. A learner may build a compensatory system because ability cannot be calibrated, because the opaque environment has become emotionally aversive, because schoolwork has lost perceived value, or because its evaluators can no longer be trusted. Three substitution pathways are specified: aesthetic, frontier, and structural. Individual differences, above all intolerance of uncertainty and need for cognitive closure, are proposed to govern the relative weight of the routes and the choice of pathway rather than whether construction occurs. Deliberate evaluative concealment is treated as a causally distinct and more potent antecedent than passive information absence because it simultaneously elevates uncertainty, deepens aversive emotion, and corrodes trust. Seven formal propositions and six falsifiable predictions are advanced, together with a staged research program spanning qualitative construct development, scale construction, behavioral experiments, and longitudinal work. The model reinterprets a subset of gifted underachievement as an information-structural phenomenon rather than a deficit phenomenon, and specifies implications for feedback design in schools and families.

This study examined the relationship between organisational exclusion and happiness at work as well as influence of gender and age on happiness among contract staff at TotalEnergies OML 58, Obagi, Rivers State. A descriptive survey design was adopted, using a self-report questionnaire comprising the Workplace Exclusion Scale (WES), the Happiness at Work Scale (HAWS), and sociodemographic measures. Data were collected from 117 contract staff. Respondents were aged 28–60 years, with a mean age of 51.89 years (SD = 9.51). Data were analysed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), descriptive statistics, Pearson product–moment correlation, an independent-samples t-test, and one-way analysis of variance. The results showed a significant positive relationship between organisational exclusion and happiness at work, r = .62, p < .01. Gender was also significantly associated with happiness, t(115) = −2.13, p < .05, while age had a significant effect, F(2, 114) = 4.26, p < .05. The findings highlight the importance of exclusion especially tasking workloads gender and age in promoting employee happiness.
