Reference implementation accompanying the paper A Certified Transmission-Line-Matrix Method for Elliptic Field Problems, and Why the Certificate Fails on Approximated Geometry. The code realises a Prager-Synge complementary pair with the two dual TLM diffusion networks, so that a passive scattering solver returns a guaranteed two-sided bound on a quantity of interest, and it reproduces every number and figure of the paper: two- and three-dimensional validation, the effectivity index, the contrast and geometry sweeps, the non-circular benchmark against a dual discrete-geometric solver, the geometric-error experiments, and the certified pad-to-substrate capacitance extraction on a package model. All source files are released under the MIT licence.Release 1.1 adds eddy_current/: guaranteed two-sided bounds on the impedance of an eddy-current coil (inductance, resistance and mutual impedances) for any approximate field, from a Raviart-Thomas equilibrated flux, with the certification of every period of a passive TLM time march, accompanying the paper Guaranteed Two-Sided Bounds on Eddy-Current Coil Impedance for Any Approximate Field, With a Passive TLM Solver and Application to Nondestructive Testing and Induction Tomography.

This paper examines the role of artificial intelligence-based decision support systems (AI-DSS) in the governance and quality assurance processes of higher education institutions. Drawing on empirical studies of predictive analytics in accreditation, admissions, and student-performance monitoring, together with the broader literature on trustworthy and interpretable AI, the paper analyzes how such systems are reshaping institutional decision-making while introducing new risks of algorithmic opacity and automation bias. It concludes with governance recommendations — human-in-the-loop review, interpretability standards, and periodic auditing — for the responsible use of AI-DSS in high-stakes educational governance contexts.

A controlled study of what LLM judges of tool-using agents actually detect, under conditions where the ground truth is known by construction. A synthetic support-desk environment with a scripted oracle gives known-correct runs; a six-type injector breaks one step at a known index, keeps each fault's clean parent, and records whether the environment outcome survived and whether the final reply changed. Five judges (a rule checker, an outcome-only judge, a step-rubric judge with two models, and a self-consistency ensemble) are scored on detection, localisation, typing, calibration and cost over 400 trajectories. Comparing each fault with its clean parent shows that recall can credit a judge with detection it does not have. Every raw verdict is committed, so all tables and figures rebuild offline with no model calls.

Cultural astronomy, the study of human relationships with the sky has long been dominated by archaeology and the history of astronomy, while its linguistic dimensions remain systematically undertheorized. This narrative review critically examines representative literature from 2005 to 2026 across four thematic domains: star-name semantics, grammatical encoding of celestial knowledge, linguistic relativity in time concepts, and transmission mechanisms of Indigenous astronomical knowledge. The review finds that celestial naming exhibits stable embodied cognitive patterns across languages, yet borrowing and semantic change pathways are more complex than existing models suggest, as demonstrated by Ge'ez planetary nomenclature and Mesopotamian-Greek star-name transmission. Grammatical encoding—noun classification, numeral classifiers, evidential marking, and absolute spatial frames—reveals language as an active structuring mechanism for astronomical cognition rather than a passive mirror, with Tariana evidentiality and Guugu Yimithirr solar-anchored coordinates providing particularly strong evidence. The Amondawa and Aymara cases both challenge and refine the linguistic relativity hypothesis, while their methodological limitations warrant equal scrutiny. Oral genres, Wardaman songlines, Polynesian wayfinding chants, and Rapa Nui material anchors—function as differentiated cognitive storage technologies whose poetic features serve knowledge preservation rather than decoration. The review identifies three systematic limitations in existing scholarship: corpus imbalance favoring written traditions, insufficient interdisciplinary dialogue between linguists and cultural astronomers, and methodological fragility of "absence" judgments. To address these, the paper proposes "celestial semantic domain" as an integrative analytical framework comprising lexical, grammatical, and discourse-genre levels, and argues that cultural astronomy should become a regular domain of semantic typology and language documentation rather than a marginal curiosity. Future priorities include cross-linguistic celestial vocabulary databases, integration of celestial semantics into fieldwork protocols, experimental research on evidentiality and causal reasoning, and cognitive-linguistic models of oral astronomical genres.
