A single prospective, pre-registered test of an L1000 connectivity pipeline, run against its own author's interest and reported as a negative.
The pre-registration was committed with a SHA-256 hash before any disease signature or any score existed. It named two systemic sclerosis skin cohorts in advance, excluded by design the series that generated the hypothesis, and fixed a single criterion: a permutation p below 0.05 on the drug's mean percentile across the primary queries.
The criterion was not met, p = 0.354. The more consequential finding is why. The connectivity statistic returned exactly zero for 45.6 and 51.2 percent of the library in the two cohorts, which is what it returns when a query's up and down gene sets enrich in the same direction. That is a refusal to measure rather than a measurement of no effect. In one cohort the tied block holds 15 of the 18 compounds declared in advance, including all four reference compounds, so dasatinib, bosutinib, nintedanib and mycophenolate mofetil return the same number as one another. A ranking that cannot separate its own controls is not a ranking anyone should select candidates from.
A secondary analysis was reported, found to be confounded three minutes later, tested directly, and withdrawn in full the same day. The record of that withdrawal is deposited with everything else.
The deposit contains the pre-registration, five phase notebooks, the frozen inputs, the per-phase result records and a SHA-256 manifest over the whole tree. Each phase refuses to run unless the previous phase's output hashes to the recorded value.

The Hermes equation (McGinty 2026a) was built for disk-galaxy rotation curves: two measured inputs, no adjustable constants per galaxy. On 133 SPARC galaxies, at SPARC's unit stellar mass-to-light normalisation, it is competitive with MOND; at the usual 0.5 for disks and 0.7 for bulges, MOND fits better. We apply its gate unchanged, with no new constants, to published CLASH lensing profiles and baryon models for seven relaxed clusters, fitting one amplitude K per cluster. Three results follow. First, under the published gas continuation, the gate's radial shape fits the lensing profiles better than MOND's (χ²/dof = 1.617 against 2.313), but a constant rescaling of the baryons with no gate fits better than both (1.243). Second, the Hermes equation's amplitude is fitted, at K ≈ 4 under the published continuation; its shape is not. Third, because wear enters as one number per cluster, K absorbs age exactly, so this test constrains the gate, not the age clock. Under an alternative outer-gas treatment MOND fits best, and the rescaling still beats the Hermes equation. This is a proof of concept, and an invitation to break it.

The Mission of TerraEnVision 2025
Our planet is suffering from the impacts of human activities. Scientists are gaining an increasing understanding of our environment, including its processes, rates of change, and emerging threats and risks. However, the challenges appear to be growing faster than the solutions that can be developed.
To identify the right, feasible, and viable solutions for a transition towards a society that remains within planetary boundaries, scientists, policymakers, and industry need to join forces. This conference aims to focus on finding solutions to the societal challenges of our time.
TERRAenVISION promotes the exchange of scientific research, industrial solutions, and policy insights to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and networking. It brings together scientists and stakeholders who share the same goals and work on the same societal challenges but come from different backgrounds. By bringing people and their knowledge together, we may be able to take the necessary steps towards solutions that can move our society towards greater sustainability.
At this conference, we aim to establish links with international policies and initiatives such as the Sustainable Development Goals, the UN Climate Conventions, the European Green Deal, COP, and CAP. The conference is structured around themes connected to the major transitions of our time. Each theme is introduced by two 20-minute plenary keynote speeches, followed by a discussion. After the plenary session, a range of parallel sessions will be organised.
We would like to emphasise that this conference is not only intended for scientists, but also for people outside the scientific community who are working on transitions towards climate change mitigation and adaptation, sustainable cities and agriculture, and a circular economy, with a focus on the sustainable use and management of natural systems.

![][badge-🔥behavioralΔ] The horizontal-gradient invariants of the geometric SGS
variance term (hgrad_invariant!) and the TKE shear production from horizontal
gradients now use ClimaCore's LumpedRestriction: within each element the
invariant of the nodal spectral-element gradient is replaced by its lumped GLL{2}
restriction, which removes the systematic excess at element-boundary nodes
while conserving each element's integral of the invariant.
![][badge-🔥behavioralΔ] Add empirical mixing length l_TKE = l_0·sqrt(x)·(1+x)·exp(−x),
x = TKE/(l_inf/tau_eps)^2, to the mixing-length closure.
![][badge-🔥behavioralΔ] Update to ClimaParams 1.1.16, which provides the
SGS-quadrature parameters and changes the defaults.
The SGS covariance, quadrature and cloud-fraction
closure parameters move from TurbulenceConvectionParameters to a new
SGSQuadratureParameters set, held as sgs_quadrature_params. CAP.x(params)
accessors and TOML names are unchanged; code that reads these fields from
turbconv_params must read them from sgs_quadrature_params.

sgs_liquid_uniform_fraction and sgs_ice_uniform_fraction,
blend the SGS-quadrature condensate reconstruction of the 1-moment
microphysics between the excess split (a species sits only at supersaturated
nodes, in proportion to its excess) and a uniform distribution (the
subdomain mean at every node, like rain and snow).

This dataset contains triaxial vibration (accelerometer) data acquired from an Ender 3 V2 FDM 3D printer during Benchy prints, for machine-fault detection. An ADXL345 accelerometer sampled at 3200 Hz was mounted on the printer to capture vibration signatures under six operating states: nominal operation, two anomalous extrusion temperatures (220 °C and 230 °C, outside the filament's recommended range), a loose X-axis carriage, and two levels of nozzle obstruction (0.3 mm and 0.2 mm). Each acquisition covers a full print, trimmed to the printing interval and labelled with its induced condition.The dataset comprises 27 raw acquisitions (~40 hours, ~450M samples at 3200 Hz) provided as CSV, together with a filtered/downsampled 200 Hz version and the code used to derive it. It was collected to address the lack of open, labelled datasets for fault detection in additive manufacturing and to support supervised machine-learning approaches (e.g. LSTM and CNN-LSTM architectures) for real-time print monitoring.
