Tanacetum vulgare L., commonly known as tansy, is a medicinal plant containing various biologically active compounds, including flavonoids, phenolic compounds, essential oils, and other secondary metabolites. In addition to these organic constituents, the elemental composition of medicinal plant materials is an important factor influencing their nutritional and biological characteristics. The aim of this study was to investigate the macro- and microelement composition of a dry extract obtained from the raw material of Tanacetum vulgare L. using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). For elemental analysis, the dry extract was mineralized using concentrated nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide under microwave-assisted digestion conditions. The resulting solutions were analyzed using an ICP-MS system. The analysis revealed considerable amounts of phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sodium, and sulfur. Among the trace elements, iron, silicon, aluminum, boron, zinc, strontium, copper, manganese, titanium, barium, rubidium, and chromium were detected. Nickel, selenium, lithium, vanadium, cobalt, and silver were also detected at lower concentrations. The obtained results demonstrate that T. vulgare dry extract contains a diverse range of macro- and microelements. The elemental profile obtained in this study may be useful for further phytochemical characterization, quality control, and evaluation of the potential application of T. vulgare raw materials in pharmaceutical and biologically active product development.

Menthol mint (Mentha Arvensis) is one of India's major aromatic crops, widely grown for its essential oil used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, and confectionery industries. Uttar Pradesh, particularly Barabanki district, is the biggest producer of menthol mint in the country. The crop offers higher profitability than many traditional crops, encouraging farmers to diversify their farming systems. However, its production is constrained by rising input costs, price fluctuations, climate variability, pest incidence, and processing challenges. This review summarizes the management practices, economic aspects, production constraints, and marketing of menthol mint in Barabanki district. It also highlights strategies to improve productivity, profitability, and sustainability through better resource management, technological adoption, and improved market linkages.

The China Reservoir Attribute Database (CRAD) database comprises 5,142 reservoirs with more than 20 attributes, including geographic location, completion year, dam length and height, reservoir area, storage capacity, catchment area, construction purpose, hydropower capacity, and irrigated area. It integrates information from existing global and regional reservoir databases with additional attribute information compiled from government documents, enterprise and professional association materials, academic publications, online encyclopedias, and other web-based sources. Collectively, the database represents 87.5% of China’s total reservoir storage capacity and 62.0% of its installed hydropower capacity. The database is available in both shapefile and comma-separated values (CSV) formats. Detailed descriptions of the database attributes are provided in Readme.csv.

Abstract: Efficient sensing remains critical in low-cost Internet of Things (IoT) and Web of Things (WoT)-enabled edge nodes, even when the sensor itself is inexpensive and widely used. The DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor employs a single-wire dig-ital protocol and relies on Arduino libraries for data acquisition, timeout handling, and scheduling behavior. In this paper, eight Arduino DHT11 libraries are benchmarked on an Arduino Uno R3 using six criteria: flash memory usage, SRAM consumption, average measured call duration, timing variability, maximum CPU blocking time, and failure-recovery behavior. The results reveal substantial performance trade-offs. Aver-age measured call durations ranged from 5,588 µs for the asynchronous DHT Sensors Non-Blocking implementation to approximately 1.04 s for DHT11; however, these measurements reflect different execution semantics and should not be interpreted as directly equivalent end-to-end acquisition latencies. Flash usage ranged from 4,288 to 5,244 bytes, while SRAM consumption ranged from 238 to 266 bytes. TroykaDHT and SDHT delivered the most stable low-latency readings, DFRobot_DHT11 minimized SRAM usage, and DHT Sensors Non-Blocking was most suitable when asynchronous execution and reduced continuous CPU occupation were required. This study does not directly benchmark application-layer protocols or cloud services, such as HTTP, MQTT, REST, or WebSocket; instead, it characterizes sensing-layer behavior that can influence data freshness, task scheduling, and overall responsiveness in resource-constrained IoT/WoT edge deployments.

ABSTRACT:
This study examines how big data analytics can help organizations gain competitive advantage in highly competitive markets. Using a mixed-method research design, the study analyzes survey data from 300 organizations and case studies of 12 firms across different industries. The findings indicate a positive relationship between big data analytics capabilities and organizational performance, including market share growth, profit margins, customer retention, and operational efficiency. Organizational agility significantly mediates this relationship. Key factors supporting successful analytics implementation include leadership commitment, a data-driven culture, strategic integration, skilled analytical talent, strong data infrastructure, effective data governance, and cross-functional collaboration. However, challenges such as data silos, talent shortages, organizational resistance, and inadequate infrastructure remain. The study concludes that sustainable competitive advantage depends not only on technology but also on integrating technical capabilities, human resources, and strategic decision-making.

Abstract: Deception mechanisms such as honeypots proved to be effective security mechanisms that lure cyber attackers to fake services away from real services, log their behavior to be analyzed in order to extract knowledge about their operation. Honeypots have been adopted by the research community since they can detect passive scanning attacks, which attackers usually perform to collect knowledge about the current network to prepare for larger attacks. However, the static deployment of honeypots makes them easier to be exposed by skilled attackers. Therefore, it is necessary to make honeypot deployments in the network dynamically and proactively. To overcome this shortcoming, Moving Target Defense (MTD) is a solution technology that changes network configuration parameters efficiently, either reactively or proactively, to falsify the details collected by attackers in order to disrupt the intended cyber-attack. In this paper, we present a review of the current work on MTD techniques in Software Defined Networking (SDN) environment and highlight some important requirements for MTD applications and their issues. Moreover, we present a theoretical model of a cybersecurity mechanism combining MTD with a deception mechanism implemented as an SDN controller.
