This record contains a repository copy of the following previously published journal article: Mandal, Bibek Kumar, and Ali Asger Nakib. “Comparison between the Treatment Effects of Retraction Using Mini-Implant Method of Anchorage and Conventional Method of Anchorage Using Sliding Mechanics.” International Clinical and Medical Case Reports Journal, 2023, 2(9), 1–9. The article was originally published on 19 February 2023 in the International Clinical and Medical Case Reports Journal (ISSN: 2832-5788). The study compares the treatment effects of retraction using mini-implant anchorage and conventional anchorage methods using sliding mechanics. Thirty-two participants were divided into two groups of 16, and treatment changes were assessed over a four-month retraction period.

Professional communication represents one of the most important areas in which the relationship between language, society, professional knowledge and social activity becomes particularly evident. Every professional community develops specific ways of naming concepts, describing processes, exchanging knowledge and organizing interaction. As a result, the language used in a particular professional domain demonstrates a certain degree of specialization. One of the concepts that makes it possible to describe this phenomenon is professional sublanguage. Although the term has been widely used in studies of specialized communication, its boundaries and relationship with such concepts as terminology, professional vocabulary, jargon, register and professional discourse require further clarification.

Reproducibility software and derived data accompanying the study "Static Feasibility Can Overstate Chronological Admissibility in Distributional Power-System Operating States" by Ghassan Malkawi and Ahmed Abdelaziz Elsayed. Version v8-reproducibility.20260926 preserves the frozen V8 numerical artifacts. The archive contains generated RTS and PyPSA-GB dispatch matrices, coordinate classifications, chronological repair and alternating-current summary outputs, selected Elexon-derived result tables, author research code, source pins and hashes, acquisition instructions, and portable verification code. The arithmetic audit recomputes 26 quantities from released artifacts; all 26 pass their recorded tolerances. This verifies artifact-to-number consistency and does not rerun all original optimization models or independently validate their physical assumptions. Raw upstream data, private author declarations, internal working files, and manuscript PDFs are excluded. Upstream sources must be obtained under their own terms. The frozen PyPSA-GB LP extracts do not activate chronology attributes; the pinned upstream model contains additional chronology parameterizations whose admission remains a separate unresolved research task. This is a public pre-submission reproducibility snapshot, not a journal publication or a corrected manuscript release. Les zoonoses liées à la faune sauvage constituent un enjeu majeur de santé publique, particulièrement en République Démocratique du Congo où le commerce de viande de brousse demeure une activité importante sur les plans alimentaire et économique. Cette étude a eu pour objectif d'évaluer les connaissances, les attitudes et les pratiques des acteurs impliqués dans le commerce de viande de brousse, ainsi que d'identifier les facteurs associés à la connaissance des zoonoses et à la perception des risques sanitaires. Une étude transversale analytique a été réalisée auprès de 212 participants sélectionnés dans les marchés de Kinshasa. Les données ont été recueillies à l'aide d'un questionnaire structuré administré en entretien direct, puis analysées à l'aide de statistiques descriptives et d'analyses bivariées. Les résultats montrent que 89,6 % des répondants avaient déjà manipulé ou vendu de la viande de brousse, principalement celui de singe (79,3 %) et de l'antilope (75,0 %). Seuls 50,9 % ont déclaré connaître les maladies transmissibles par la viande de brousse. La maladie à virus Ebola étant la maladie la plus fréquemment citée (38,7 %). La majorité des enquêtés ne portaient des équipements de protection que de façon occasionnelle et plus du tiers ne savaient pas si la viande de brousse représentait un danger pour la santé humaine. Les analyses bivariées ont montré que le sexe, le niveau d'instruction, la profession, certaines pratiques de consommation, les comportements préventifs et la perception du risque étaient significativement associés aux connaissances des zoonoses. La perception du danger était principalement influencée par les connaissances des maladies zoonotiques, la consommation de chauve-souris et les comportements préventifs. Ces résultats soulignent la nécessité de renforcer les actions d'information, de sensibilisation et de prévention selon l'approche «One Health» afin de réduire les risques de transmission des zoonoses liées au commerce de viande de brousse.

В статье представлен обзор основных этапов изучения словосложения, от античной и древнеиндийской грамматических традиций до лингвистики XX века. Рассматриваются подходы к определению сложного слова (композита) в трудах представителей Московской и Казанской школ (Ф.Ф. Фортунатов, И.А. Бодуэн де Куртенэ) и в работах отечественных и зарубежных исследователей XX столетия (О.С. Ахманова, Е.А. Земская, В.Н. Немченко, И.В. Арнольд, О.Н. Кравченко). Сопоставляются классификации сложных слов по структуре, типу синтаксических отношений между компонентами и наличию соединительного элемента. Обсуждаются критерии отграничения композитов от словосочетаний и других близких образований. Отмечается, что единого определения сложного слова в науке до сих пор нет, а многие вопросы композитообразования остаются дискуссионными.

This thesis focuses on the use of corpus-based examples to teach countable and uncountable nouns to 5th- and 6th-grade English language learners. The learners are approximately 10–12 years old and have an intermediate level of English proficiency. Although they understand basic grammatical structures, they may experience difficulty distinguishing between countable and uncountable nouns and using appropriate quantifiers in meaningful communication. The study uses examples from the Corpus of Contemporary American English (COCA) to provide learners with authentic language examples from everyday contexts. The selected examples were categorized into countable and uncountable nouns and organized according to familiar contexts such as school, shopping, food, and daily life. The findings suggest that corpus-based examples can provide learners with meaningful models of grammar in context and can support the transition from isolated grammar rules to practical language use.
