Video clips (37 surgeries, 194 clips) from routine recordings of congenital open-heart surgery, with frame-by-frame segmentation masks of the aorta, right atrium and right ventricle (86,241 annotated frames), plus a YOLO segmentation dataset (19,294 images). Surgery dates are replaced by random IDs. Available on request for non-commercial research. See the README and the paper (doi:10.1007/s11701-026-03775-x).

This article stems from a fundamental observation: the logical and philosophical tradition, throughout its long history, has directed its primary efforts to the study of declarative propositions—sentences that bear truth or falsity—while largely neglecting the study of questions as logical propositions in their own right. Questions have typically been treated as instruments for reaching propositions, or as secondary applications in the realm of fallacies, rather than as subjects deserving an independent theory. Yet careful reflection reveals that the question, in its deep structure, is not merely a request for knowledge, but an implicit proposition that incorporates presuppositions, loads concepts, and delineates the boundaries of possible answers. A question may be logically correct or incorrect independently of whether it is useful, relevant, or appropriate.
This article presents a novel theoretical framework under the title "Questionhood of Questions" or "Logic of Pre-Answer," proposing a methodology for examining questions as compound propositions, drawing on multiple fields: formal logic, philosophy of language, semantics, mathematics, epistemology, and cognitive science. The article argues that neglecting the propositional nature of questions has produced an accumulation of paradoxes and fallacies that could not be resolved at the level of answers, because the flaw lies in the questions themselves. It also links this proposal to context theory, since corrupt contexts generate corrupt questions, and examining the question is an entry point to dismantling the context.
The article concludes that establishing a "logic of questions" is not merely an academic addition, but an epistemic necessity for escaping numerous philosophical, scientific, and practical impasses, and a fundamental step towards building a more rigorous and coherent theory of knowledge. An appendix lays the foundation for a formal system of the logic of questionhood.

Data and code accompanying the article "The hidden arithmetic of domestic content rules in offshore wind allocation".
The package contains item-level scoring rules, qualifying thresholds and award data for offshore wind allocation in Taiwan (zonal development stages 3-1, 3-2 and 3-3) and Japan (round 1), the scoring structure of South Africa's renewable energy procurement programme as a comparator, and the delivery timeline of Taiwan's Phase 2 projects relative to schedule-based benchmarks. All values were transcribed from public policy documents, tender guidelines, award results and dispute filings, listed in data/sources.csv by reference number.
Package structure:
data/ - eight CSV files (scheme summaries, item-level weights, Japanese award scores, Phase 2 timeline, supplier counts, screening record, sources)
code/compute.py - computes the bindingness indicators and draws Figs 1–4
output/ - the indicator values and the figures produced by the script
To reproduce, use: pip install -r requirements.txt, then python3 code/compute.py. Requires Python 3.9 or later and matplotlib.

This dataset contains raw diffusion MRI images in DICOM format acquired as part of a study characterising neuroimaging phenotypes in a CSF1R-haploinsufficient (Csf1r+/−) mouse model of Adult-onset Leukoencephalopathy with Axonal Spheroids and Pigmented Glia (ALSP), described in Schmidt et al. (Neurobiology of Disease, NBD-26-2039). Images were acquired at the Centre for Functional and Metabolic Mapping (CFMM), a Core Research Facility at Western located in the Robarts Research Institute building, University of Western Ontario, London, ON, Canada, using a 9.4-tesla scanner (Agilent/Bruker BioSpec Avance III).
This repository contains data from female animals only. Scans from 14 female animals were acquired across two experimental groups (Csf1r+/− and WT); age at scan: approximately 12-16 months. All 14 animals were included in the final published analysis (n=7 WT, n=7 Csf1r+/−).
Diffusion metrics (FA, MD, NDI, and ODI) were derived from these images using FSL and the NODDI Matlab toolbox. The included README provides acquisition parameters, animal metadata (sex, age, and genotype), and the tools used, enabling independent reprocessing of the raw data.
