Static chamber fluxes of CO2, CH4 and N2O from two 24 h campaigns (February 2020 and January 2022) in a 23.4 ha palisadegrass pasture in Pirassununga, SP, Brazil, with the pasture polygon, radiosonde and ERA5 cloud-cover inputs, AERMET and AERMOD (version 24142) control files for the reference and ten alternative meteorological configurations, hourly AERMOD dispersion factors, the output and code of a backward Lagrangian stochastic dispersion model, the tables of results and the Python scripts used in the analysis. On-site surface meteorology is not included and is available from the station operators on request. See README.md for the structure, units and conventions.

Visual front end for figtreekit: form-based parameter editing, automatic preview, and replayable export records. Changed All styling and rendering is delegated to the figtreekit core: the front end's own bitmap recolour pass and its post-hoc NEXUS label-colour rewrite are gone, so preview, render and replay share one implementation. Exported records end in figtreekit --render instead of a bare java -jar, and arguments are shell-quoted so values like #FAFAFA survive. --host no longer binds unchecked: non-loopback addresses require --allow-remote-bind. CI now builds the macOS bundle and runs --smoke-test inside the frozen app; the packaging spec collects the core's submodules and its patched JAR. Tests: 100 collected; CI installs figtreekit[render]>=1.1.3 from PyPI, runs the suite on macOS (Python 3.12, Java 17), builds the bundle and passes the packaged self-check. Requires: Python >= 3.11, Java >= 8. Not published on PyPI; install from a source checkout with pip install .. Archive: archived on Zenodo with its own version DOI (see CITATION.cff).

This article examines labial (rounding) vowel harmony in the Oghuz dialect of Uzbek spoken in southern Khorezm and compares it with Turkish, Azerbaijani, Turkmen and literary Uzbek. Although palatal harmony in this dialect has been described in some detail, the rounding component of synharmonism has received little separate attention. The study applies descriptive and comparative-typological methods to published dialect transcriptions from Khiva and Urgench and to data from the related Ikan dialect. The material is evaluated against four parameters: the trigger vowel, the height of the target vowel, the domain of spreading and the phonetic realisation of the harmonising vowel. The analysis shows that labial harmony in the dialect is height-restricted: it affects high vowels in roots and suffixes but never rounds non-high suffix vowels. It is more consistent after front rounded vowels than after back rounded ones, after which the suffix vowel is often realised as a reduced, weakly rounded segment. Spreading is usually limited to the first two syllables. The dialect therefore occupies an intermediate position between the four-way systems of Turkish and Azerbaijani and the harmony-free literary Uzbek standard.

This article examines the legal grounds and law-enforcement practice of returning criminal cases by prosecutors to investigators for additional investigation. Particular attention is paid to the current state of the relevant criminal procedural legislation, the problems arising in law-enforcement practice, and the need to clearly define the grounds for returning criminal cases at the pre-trial stage. The study analyzes the concepts of serious violations of criminal procedural law and the incompleteness of investigation, as well as their significance for ensuring legality, protecting the rights and legitimate interests of participants in criminal proceedings, and ensuring the adoption of lawful, well-founded, and fair procedural decisions. The approaches of a number of scholars to determining the grounds for returning criminal cases are examined, including violations of participants’ procedural rights, inadmissibility of evidence, incomplete investigation, changes in the scope of charges, and changes in the legal qualification of criminal acts. The article also proposes criteria for distinguishing serious procedural violations from investigative incompleteness and identifies circumstances that may constitute unconditional grounds for returning a criminal case for additional investigation.
