Replication code and evaluation data accompanying the article in Economics Letters, volume 268, article 113166 (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.econlet.2026.113166). The default offline route reproduces the main table and figure and all six appendix tables from included window-level evaluations and daily predictive losses. An additional route refits LPD and QLIKE stacking weights and recalculates certainty-equivalent returns, VaR violation rates and daily QLIKE losses from saved predictive arrays and lawfully obtained market observations, without rerunning MCMC. Those predictive arrays and licensed market observations are external inputs and are not included in this archive. The README documents input definitions, units, sample periods, random seeds, the tested software environment and run commands. This study presents a quasi-steady simulation and optimization framework for ground-generation airborne wind energy systems with soft kites. A novel parameterization of the reel-out phase is introduced, explicitly resolving crosswind maneuvers through a kinematically feasible figure-of-eight trajectory, thereby improving physical representativeness compared to conventional averaged crosswind models. The framework is validated against experimental data from the TU Delft V3 reference kite, showing good agreement in kite kinematics, phase- and cycle-averaged power, while highlighting expected limitations in instantaneous force prediction. The model is subsequently used to optimize pumping-cycle operational parameters under fixed environmental conditions, revealing significant variations in cycle duration and modest gains in average power. The results demonstrate the suitability of the proposed framework for efficient conceptual design studies and operational optimization of airborne wind energy systems.

This article provides an in-depth analysis of the methodology for integrating Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies in the development of urban planning documentation and master plans for cities in Uzbekistan. Highlighting the limitations of traditional 2D design approaches, this study substantiates how the GeoBIM approach enhances urban zoning, facilitates infrastructure network simulations, and improves spatial data accuracy. Furthermore, digital algorithms for calculating urban development indicators and systematic procedures for aligning workflows with Uzbekistan's national Urban Planning Norms and Rules (SHNQ) are proposed.

This manuscript examines the relationship between religion and journalism in Uganda, a society in which faith remains a major source of identity, public morality, civic authority, and community mobilisation. The central argument is that Ugandan journalism does not report religion from outside society; rather, it operates within a deeply religious public sphere where churches, mosques, independent ministries, and faith-based media actors influence sources, story frames, audience expectations, and ethical disputes. The discussion is based on a narrative review of recent literature and policy materials published between 2018 and 2023. The paper shows that religion contributes to journalism by widening moral debate, providing trusted community voices, supporting development communication, and sustaining local radio content. However, it also creates professional risks where reporting becomes promotional, sectarian, politically aligned, or insufficiently verified. The manuscript concludes that responsible religion reporting in Uganda requires accuracy, fairness, plural sourcing, contextual sensitivity, and editorial independence, especially in radio and digital spaces where faith messages travel quickly and shape public interpretation.
