As containerized edge workloads increasingly deploy on desktop-class host operating systems and hypervisors, understanding the interactions between operating system scheduling policies and microservices network Quality of Service (QoS) becomes critical. This paper evaluates the effectiveness of CPU core pinning (taskset) and real-time process scheduling (SCHED_FIFO) in suppressing network tail latency under host CPU saturation within a WSL2 container environment. Across N_runs = 5 randomized, independent trials (180s each), baseline Completely Fair Scheduler (CFS) execution achieved an average round-trip time (RTT) of 0.793 ± 0.007 ms under 100% CPU stress, with P_95 and P_99 tail latency bounds of 2.000 ± 0.000 ms and 2.042 ± 0.094 ms, respectively. Surprisingly, applying CPU core isolation (Iso_CFS) or real-time priority scheduling (Hybrid_Iso_RT) failed to compress network tail latency, extending P_99 bounds to 2.400 ± 0.548 ms and 2.442 ± 0.6101 ms. While telemetry confirms that real-time scheduling completely eliminates user-space involuntary context switches (Δ = 0.000), this process-level preemption isolation does not translate to lower network tail latency. Non-parametric effect size analysis (|δ| ≤ 0.051) confirms a fundamental cross-layer disconnect: preventing user-space preemption cannot compensate for lower-level kernel softirq queueing delays and hypervisor traversal overheads under host saturation.

Internet, ijtimoiy tarmoqlar, sun’iy intellekt, katta ma’lumotlar va raqamli platformalarning keng tarqalishi natijasida inson huquqlariga nisbatan yangi tahdidlar paydo bo‘lmoqda. Xususan, kiberbulling, onlayn tuhmat va haqorat, shaxsiy ma’lumotlarning noqonuniy tarqatilishi, doxxing, raqamli ta’qib, identifikatsiya ma’lumotlaridan noqonuniy foydalanish hamda sun’iy intellekt yordamida yaratiladigan deepfake kontentlar insonning sha’ni, obro‘si va shaxsiy hayotiga zarar yetkazishi mumkin. Tadqiqotda O‘zbekiston Respublikasining konstitutsiyaviy normalari, shaxsga doir ma’lumotlarni himoya qilishga oid qonunchilik hamda xalqaro huquqiy yondashuvlar o‘rganildi. Raqamli muhitda inson qadr-qimmatini himoya qilish faqat huquqiy javobgarlik bilan cheklanmasdan, texnik, tashkiliy, ta’limiy va institutsional choralarni ham qamrab olishi zarurligi asoslab beriladi.

The term qualitative, when applied to research, is polysemous and can often lead to confusion. Many studies associate this term with naturalistic sociological methodologies. In the field of translation studies, these approaches employ tools such as questionnaires and interviews to examine translation phenomena from a human and social perspective. However, in the realm of textual translation studies, "qualitative" should also be understood to encompass any investigation that emphasizes interpretative, semantic, or translation-oriented analysis of textual content. This interpretation would apply to nearly all text-based translation studies, with the exception of those relying on quantitative frequency counts typical of quantitative corpus linguistics, which frequently aims for statistically representative textual sampling.
Qualitative analysis can be conducted on source texts, target texts, or through any contrastive study that evaluates the quality—whether functional or otherwise—of a translation. Texts, in any research design that involves semantic or contextual interpretation, inherently yield qualitative data.
The qualitative study of texts encompasses a wide range of methods, each tailored to specific analytical aims. Diverse theoretical and methodological traditions underpin these approaches, most of which rely fundamentally on coding-based strategies. Although such techniques have a well‑established history within sociology-oriented textual research, their adoption within translation studies has remained comparatively limited. This gap is striking, given that in our discipline the text—across all its manifestations—constitutes the primary object of inquiry.

Abstract. Thе article examines the Byzantine theme system during the reign of the Isaurian dynasty and contrasts it with the theme organization of the preceding Heraclian dynasty. The author analyzes the causes, course, and consequences of the transformations the theme system underwent under the Isaurian emperors. The study concludes that the subdivision of themes and the creation of imperial tagmata served, on the one hand, to strengthen the army and bolster the empire's position against external threats, and on the other, to stabilize the empire's internal situation by depriving theme strategoi of the opportunity to seize the throne through armed force.

Abstract
Bullying remains a persistent concern in basic schools, yet less attention has been given to how pupils interpret bullying within the implicit norms and everyday practices of school life. This study explored how pupils in two basic schools in the Effutu Municipality of Ghana make sense of bullying through the lens of the hidden curriculum. Guided by Symbolic Interactionism and Sense-Making Theory, the study adopted an interpretivist qualitative design using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Primary IPA data were collected from pupils through semi-structured individual interviews, while complementary focus group discussions (FGD) with pupils were used to collect data to illuminate shared peer norms and collective meanings. The findings indicate that pupils understood bullying as a normalised part of school life and interpreted inconsistent teacher intervention, peer expectations, and the stigma attached to reporting as important signals about acceptable responses to bullying. Pupils consequently negotiated competing institutional and peer expectations and adopted silence, retaliation, avoidance, and alliance-building as context-sensitive strategies for managing risk and maintaining social belonging. The findings suggest that addressing bullying requires attention not only to formal policies but also to the implicit norms and practices through which pupils learn how to interpret and respond to bullying.
