This report reviews the editorial and bibliometric performance of the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease (JAD) from its founding in 1998 through August 2026. It covers trends from 2020 to 2026 in manuscripts received and accepted, uptake of optional open access, and time from submission to first decision. It also covers the 2025 Journal Impact Factor (3.4) and 5-year Impact Factor, and the distribution of authorship and readership across world regions. The citation analysis includes 40,756 citations to JAD in 2025, the top 20 journals citing JAD, the ten most-cited JAD articles of all time and of 2025, and article viewership from 2022 to 2026, including the rise in readership after the move to the Sage Journals platform. The report also summarizes 2026 special issues, the companion Journal of Alzheimer's Disease Reports, and the 2026 Mark A. Smith Alzheimer Award article on sex differences in tau, astrocytic and neurodegenerative plasma biomarkers.

This zipped archive of a GitHub repository includes the experimental data (csv files) collected for the reduction of N2O to N2 by purified Stutzerimonas stuzeri nitrous oxide reductase (N2OR or NosZ) and the R code (qmd files) used to analyze these data. The code used to prepare dual isotope plots (boxplots or isotope maps) is also included. A link to the corresponding GitHub repository is also provided.
These data are being made available as part of the submission of a manuscript entitled "Determination of the Kinetic Isotope Effects for Nitrous Oxide Reduction by Purified Form II Nitrous Oxide Reductase" to Biogeosciences. Precision Mito was started by two people living with mitochondrial disease and seeking answers. That personal experience shapes our commitment to taking patient questions seriously, making complex evidence easier to understand, and supporting more informed conversations with clinicians and researchers.
These debate papers come from that search for clarity. When findings appear to conflict, we want to understand what each study shows, how differences in methods or context may explain the disagreement, and what evidence could resolve it. We lay out the arguments for both sides and invite the authors to correct our interpretation and talk with one another, so uncertainty can lead to better questions and clearer answers.
Our goal is clearer understanding for people living with mitochondrial disease, their families, and the clinicians and researchers working to help them. We welcome explanations that reconcile both papers as well as evidence that challenges either interpretation. Our lived experience motivates the questions; scientific conclusions must rest on evidence.
Study [1] reports: "CoQ10 supplementation does not reduce muscle pain in patients with statin myalgia.". Study [2] reports: "Also, the symptoms of SAM significantly improved in the active group (p < 0.001): the intensity of muscle pain decreased from 6.7 ± 1.72 to 3.2 ± 2.1 (p < 0.01, -53.4 ± 28.2%)". The existing review identifies unresolved evidence. Differences in study conditions need clarification; a direct experimental contradiction is not established.
Focused synthesis of two primary studies and separately cited review context identifying an unresolved question. Different interpretations and study contexts do not establish a direct experimental contradiction. This is not a new systematic review, meta-analysis, experimental study or determination that either paper is correct. Private author responses and contacts are excluded.

This paper examines how the strategic management of foreign economic activity influences enterprise competitiveness through market diversification, resource allocation, productivity improvement, innovation, international network development, and risk management. The study synthesizes classical strategic-management concepts with international-business theory and recent evidence from the World Trade Organization, OECD, UN Trade and Development, and the World Bank. The central argument is that foreign economic activity creates competitive advantage only when international expansion is treated as an integrated strategic process rather than as a set of isolated export transactions. A structured management cycle is proposed that links environmental analysis, market and entry-mode selection, capability development, implementation, monitoring, and organizational learning. Particular attention is paid to digitalization, global value-chain participation, supply-chain resilience, foreign-exchange exposure, compliance, and the use of performance indicators. The paper concludes that systematic strategic management strengthens the capacity of enterprises to convert international opportunities into durable advantages in cost, quality, innovation, speed, brand reputation, and market access.
