 This article examines the digitalizatiоn and cоmputatiоnal analysis оf the lyrical heritage оf the great Uzbek pоet and thinker, Alisher Navоi, specifically fоcusing оn the ghazals included in his Khazayin ul-Ma'оniy ("Treasury оf Meanings") cоllectiоn. The study analyzes the principles оf creating an authоrial cоrpus, a multi-layered structural, mоrphоlоgical, and semantic tagging (annоtatiоn) system fоr classical texts, and cоmputatiоnal algоrithms fоr the autоmatic detectiоn оf aruz meters, rhyme schemes, and pоetic devices. Furthermоre, the rоle and practical significance оf Digital Pоetics and Stylоmetry methоds in addressing cоntempоrary issues in Navоi studies are demоnstrated thrоugh specific cоmputatiоnal mоdels.

Digital transformation has fundamentally reshaped how organizations manage their financial functions, shifting from historical, periodic reporting toward management that is increasingly real-time, data-driven, and technologically integrated. This article aims to develop an integrative conceptual framework of strategic financial management in the digital era and to synthesize the empirical evidence that supports it, using a qualitative library research method with a narrative-thematic approach analyzed through explicit stages of coding and thematic synthesis. Through an in-depth review of 29 international literature sources, this article identifies five core dimensions that constitute strategic financial management in the digital era: (1) digital financial technology infrastructure, (2) data-driven decision-making, (3) digital risk governance and cybersecurity, (4) dynamic capabilities and strategic agility, and (5) digital financial literacy and human capital. The critical-comparative synthesis reveals one strong point of convergence digitalization is consistently associated with financial management effectiveness accompanied by cross-country contextual variation, a recurring pattern of mediation by organizational capability, and a methodological tension between the processual claims of dynamic capabilities theory and the cross-sectional designs that dominate the available evidence. Digital financial literacy emerges as a cross-cutting enabler that moderates the effectiveness of the other four dimensions, while dynamic capabilities are positioned as the meta-capability foundation linking the resource-based view to the three technology dimensions. This article contributes an integrative framework visualized through a layered structural diagram that bridges what has largely been a fragmented body of financial-technology research, while outlining a concrete future research agenda for empirically testing the proposed framework.

Food waste is becoming one of the topmost sustainability challenges around the world, leading to significant environmental damage, financial losses, and social inequities, besides food insecurity and inefficient resource use (FAO, 2011; UNEP, 2024). Even with intensified efforts toward food loss reduction throughout the supply chains, fragmentary management practices continue to act as barriers to sustainability and circularity within the food systems. The current study offers a detailed review of the approaches used within the circular economy concept to reduce food waste and introduces a waste-to-wealth strategy framework incorporating technology innovations, circular business models, and policies for resource management. Through analysis of the latest literature, the review considers food waste drivers and impacts, waste valorization technologies such as composting, anaerobic digestion, energy production from food waste, bioconversion, upcycling, and digital platforms, besides other emerging circular industries and case studies worldwide. The findings from the review highlight that utilizing food waste in generating renewable energy and bio-based fertilizers, among other value-added products, increases resource efficiency, encourages green entrepreneurship, and fosters climate change mitigation and resilience in the food system (Kirchherr et al., 2017; UNEP, 2024). Additionally, the review outlines some of the barriers hindering the adoption of circular food systems at a large scale and suggests some strategic measures for promoting their adoption. By considering environmental, economic, and social aspects in an integrated conceptual framework, the present study not only adds to the literature on circular economy but also makes a meaningful contribution to the literature on sustainable food systems, thus helping to meet the SDGs.

Commercial goat and sheep fattening has considerable potential in Tamil Nadu because of the strong demand for chevon, well-adapted indigenous breeds, established livestock markets and the increasing need for regular meat supply. However, profitability at farm level is still limited by a combination of feed and fodder scarcity, rising concentrate cost, disease and mortality, poor growth, shortage of technical knowledge and labour, market intermediaries, seasonal price variation, heat stress, theft and limited access to credit and insurance. These problems are closely connected: high feed cost can reduce feeding and disease can reduce daily weight gain, slow growth increases the feeding period, and poor marketing can reduce the final return. Therefore, profitable fattening cannot be achieved by improving only one part of the production system. This review focuses specifically on the two major areas that directly influence the efficiency of commercial fattening farms: production constraints and practical health management. The review emphasizes locally relevant prevention, routine health monitoring, vaccination, strategic parasite control, quarantine, biosecurity, mortality reduction and proper farm records. A practical health program is proposed in which the farmer gives priority to prevention and early detection rather than depending on treatment after disease becomes severe. Vaccination against major infectious diseases, controlled introduction of purchased animals, targeted parasite control, clean and dry housing, safe feed and water, and regular body-weight monitoring are identified as high-value practices. The overall approach is intended to provide a simple and economically realistic framework that can be adopted by small and medium commercial goat and sheep fattening farms in Tamil Nadu.

Between 2022 and 2023 alone, around 740,000 individuals were removed from their homes, and over 150,000 houses were pulled down by Indian government authorities; more than half of these demolitions were carried out on the pretext of upgrading their condition (Housing and Land Rights Network [HLRN], 2024). The paper inquires whether the continuous, ancient, and open occupancy of land by the people of Dharavi qualifies as adverse possession under Indian Law, and whether there is a possible legal route to exploit it. By analyzing the Limitation Act of 1963 and its interpretation in the courts, the authors demonstrate that while the duration and openness conditions of adverse possession may be met by many residents of Dharavi easily, there remain two significant problems: in an informal settlement like Dharavi it is impossible to set the starting date of occupancy, and the existence of a contradiction between the occupying population and the state, which provided the people with water and electricity, and ration cards as well. The authors also investigate the thirty-year limitation period that is imposed on public land under Article 112, as well as the Supreme Court’s ambiguous attitude towards the doctrine of adverse possession. Ultimately, the paper reinforces its conclusion that adverse possession is more a legal principle than a litigation strategy.

Background: While standard news reporting primarily serves to keep the public informed of events, journalism also possesses significant potential to facilitate conflict de-escalation and advance peacebuilding frameworks. Motivated by this strategic position, this study critically evaluates the knowledge and application of peace journalism principles in reporting secessionist agitations in South-East Nigeria. Objective: The study evaluates journalists' knowledge and application of peace journalism principles regarding the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) secessionist agitation, examines its role in mitigating tension, and proposes operational principles to enhance peace-oriented reporting in conflict situations. Method: A descriptive survey design was adopted, and data were collected using a structured questionnaire to obtain primary data from 389 journalists out of the 400 questionnaires distributed to journalists across the five South-East States through proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The data were analysed using weighted arithmetic mean based on 5-point likert-scale. Theoretical Framework: It was anchored on two theories; Peace Journalism Theory and Social Responsibility Theory. Results: The findings reveal that majority of journalists in South-East Nigeria possess knowledge of peace journalism (94%) but only (75%) apply its principles frequently when covering secessionist agitations. Despite the distinct knowledge-application gap, the application of peace journalism principles such as objective reportage and the deliberate avoidance of inflammatory language relying on professional frameworks, including conflict-sensitive reporting and contextual reporting have successfully contributed to conflict de-escalation with regards to secessionist agitations. Unique Contributions : The study provides insight into the application of peace journalism principles in reporting Secessionist agitations, offers evidence based recommendations for journalism education and media policy in Nigeria, draws attention to media ethics and professionalism in conflict reporting as well as advocates the inclusion of peace journalism modules in journalism training curricula. Recommendations: To strengthen conflict reporting regarding secessionist agitations in South East Nigeria and to close the application gap, key media stakeholders including the NUJ, NGE, NPC, and civil society organisations must organise continuous training programs, enforce ethical monitoring, and establish clear guidelines on peace journalism. Furthermore, journalists should actively prioritise objectivity, fairness, non-inflammatory language, and multi-perspective coverage that highlights peaceful alternatives and non-elite civilian voices, while tertiary institutions must integrate mandatory peace journalism coursework to equip future professionals before field entry.

The growing strategic role of local cuisine in hospitality requires an understanding of competitiveness that extends beyond food attributes alone. Although existing research has extensively examined Food Quality, Authenticity, Service Quality, Customer Experience, and Customer Loyalty, these perspectives remain conceptually fragmented in explaining how local culinary resources acquire competitive significance from the customer’s perspective. This critical literature review aims to integrate these perspectives and develop a coherent conceptual explanation of the transformation of local culinary resources into customer-perceived competitive value. The review employed a Critical/Conceptual Literature Review approach based on purposive and concept-driven literature identification, critical analysis, thematic synthesis, and conceptual integration. The synthesis indicates that Food Quality, Authenticity, and Service Quality represent complementary sources of culinary value whose strategic significance is realized through their integration within Customer Experience. Customer Experience functions as the central value-transformation process, while Customer Loyalty represents the continuity of experienced value within customer relationships. Building on this synthesis, the review develops the Value Transformation Perspective, through which Local Menu Competitiveness is conceptually expressed in Value Superiority, Differentiation Advantage, Market Preference, and Competitive Sustainability. These manifestations are conceptual expressions rather than predetermined empirical dimensions. The synthesis further proposes experiential-relational competitiveness of local menus as its principal conceptual implication, reframing local-menu competitiveness as customer-oriented strategic value shaped through experience and relational continuity. The proposed perspective is interpretive rather than deterministic and provides a conceptual basis for future empirical validation across diverse hospitality settings, customer segments, and local culinary contexts.
