This software archive contains the Python implementations used for the principal numerical analyses in the associated study on stress-dependent supercritical CO₂–water transport in sandstone under continuous true-triaxial loading. The archive contains two computational components: (1) three-dimensional constrained inversion of stress-dependent supercritical CO₂–water relative permeability from two-phase displacement observations, and (2) elastoplastic deformation, directional pore-throat evolution, absolute-permeability, and stress-dependent relative-permeability calculations. The software also includes required model inputs, configuration files, reference outputs, validation routines, automated tests, and reproducibility documentation. Detailed installation requirements, folder organization, coordinate conventions, model assumptions, and execution instructions are provided in the accompanying README files.

As the global security landscape becomes increasingly complex and unpredictable, the need for robust defence capabilities that are both effective and ethically sound is paramount. This paper explores the intersection of human rights, emerging technologies, and defence capabilities, arguing that future military strategies must integrate ethical considerations to ensure resilience in an uncertain future. The rapid advancement of technologies such as artificial intelligence, cyber capabilities, and autonomous systems presents both opportunities and challenges for national security. While these technologies can enhance operational effectiveness, they also raise significant ethical concerns regarding privacy, accountability, and the potential for misuse. Among these, lethal autonomous weapon systems represent a particularly contentious area, as they challenge established norms of human control and responsibility in armed conflict. This paper proposes a framework for building defence capabilities that prioritize human rights and ethical standards, aiming to mitigate the risk that technological advancements may erode fundamental freedoms. The discussion will focus on three key areas: what capabilities should be built, who will build them, and how they will be built. It will advocate for a collaborative approach involving governments, international organisations, and civil society to develop guidelines and best practices that align defence strategies with human rights principles. By fostering a culture of ethical resilience, this paper aims to contribute to the discourse on sustainable defence capabilities that not only address immediate security needs but also uphold the values of democracy and human dignity in an increasingly volatile world.

This article comprehensively examines the fundamental role of energetic organic compounds (explosives, propellants for launching systems, solid and liquid rocket propellants, and pyrotechnic mixtures) in ballistics, rocket-space technology, and civil safety systems. It is shown that due to the nitro groups and internal oxidizing centers located within their molecular structures, these compounds are capable of producing a tremendous amount of thermal and gas energy in a short period without requiring external oxygen. The operational mechanisms of internal and external ballistics, the regulation of propellant combustion kinetics, and the importance of pyrotechnic systems applied in the automotive industry and military fields are analyzed. In modern times, the synthesis of eco-friendly energetic materials, the creation of insensitive high explosives (IHE), and the integration of nanotechnology into this field are evaluated as key scientific challenges.

Low-inertia operation changes both the speed of the frequency response and the conditioning of the closed-loop dynamics. A controller that merely retunes fixed gains as renewable penetration varies does not explicitly control how the desired closed-loop pole geometry changes with the operating point. This paper develops an inertia-normalized, pole-pattern-preservingsuper-twisting integral sliding-mode controller for renewable-penetration-aware load-frequency regulation. The method introduces an effective-inertia coordinate, maps it to a normalized timescale factor, scales a three-pole reduced-order reference without changing its normalized pole pattern, and then obtains the integral sliding-manifold coefficients by exact coefficient matching. The resulting manifold is not selected by numerical optimization: it is an algebraic consequence of the plant model and the prescribed pole pattern. The same inertia coordinate is used to normalize the super-twisting gains, while an analytically initialized integral manifold avoids a separate reaching-phase construction. The paper derives the reduced-order sliding dynamics explicitly, proves the Hurwitz property of the ideal target polynomial for every admissible penetration value, and derives the exact sliding-variable dynamics in the standard super-twisting form with a lumped perturbation term. A deterministic validation protocol is then applied to the same numerical benchmark used for all controllers: a fixed PID, a penetration-scheduled PID, a fixed-manifold STISMC, and the proposed controller. The evaluation uses a penetration sweep, disturbance amplitude stress tests, separate initial and post-governor RoCoF measures, and a 32-corner bounded parameter stress set. Worst-case uncertainty cases retain the complete parameter vector that generated each response. The resulting framework establishes a transparent analyticalchain from effective inertia to sliding-surface geometry and separates analytical guarantees from simulation-based evidence.

The evaluation of scientific output has historically been guided by indicators centered on formal publications, such as journal articles, which may lead to the undervaluation of other relevant forms of knowledge production. This study investigates the presence and scale of technical outputs registered on the Lattes Platform, proposing a computational approach for their large-scale identification, extraction, and analysis. The methodology is based on the automated collection of curricula vitae in a structured format, followed by data processing, normalization, and organization into structures suitable for exploratory analysis. The results reveal a substantial volume of technical outputs that remain outside traditional scientific evaluation systems, despite their relevance to innovation, knowledge transfer, and professional practice. The temporal analysis indicates consistent growth in these outputs, particularly in recent decades. The study contributes to the debate on broadening scientific evaluation criteria, highlighting the need to incorporate more comprehensive dimensions of academic output into systems for organizing scientific information.Conference abstract published in the proceedings of TOI2026 — XII Congresso Internacional em Tecnologia e Organização da Informação. This paper critically analyzes how Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI)-mediated satire and humor, particularly "IA slop" (mass-produced, low-quality content) and elaborate satirical pieces, are reconfiguring informational challenges in digital social contexts. The study's objective is to examine how these phenomena impact the interpretation, circulation, and distinction between human and artificial content. Employing a qualitative, exploratory-descriptive methodology, the research analyzed two case sets: user interactions with mass-circulating IA slop (like "Jesus de camarão") and the intentionally ambiguous satirical character Marisa Maiô. The results indicate that GenAI content achieves high engagement, yet users often fail to recognize the artificiality of IA slop, pointing to a weakness in critical visual literacy. Both low-quality IA slop and high-quality satire contribute to the erosion of boundaries between human and synthetic information, leading to pervasive interpretive ambiguity and impacting informational reliability. The paper concludes that GenAI intensifies existing disinformation issues and makes a simple true/false opposition impossible in the digital context. Traditional Information Science competencies are insufficient; a critical understanding of AI's mechanisms, ethical implications, and effects on reality perception must be incorporated into educational and analytical strategies to address these complex informational challenges.Conference abstract published in the proceedings of TOI2026 — XII Congresso Internacional em Tecnologia e Organização da Informação.
