This paper analyzes cultural activities developed in school libraries, understanding information and knowledge as agents of social transformation. It seeks to highlight the potential of cordel literature and graffiti as cultural practices capable of strengthening identity, citizenship, creativity, and critical expression in the school environment. This qualitative, exploratory, and descriptive research is based on a literature review and the systematization of cultural experiences implemented in school libraries, involving the identification of students' needs, selection of materials, reading mediation, discussion circles, and artistic production. The results indicate that integrating cordel literature and graffiti contributes significantly to students' intellectual, social, and emotional development, promoting active participation, critical reflection, appreciation of popular culture, and a stronger sense of belonging to the school community. It is concluded that cultural activities constitute relevant educational practices, expanding the role of the school library as a space for cultural mediation, citizenship education, and meaning-making, and indicating the need to expand these initiatives to different educational contexts.Conference abstract published in the proceedings of TOI2026 — XII Congresso Internacional em Tecnologia e Organização da Informação. This study aims to analyze cataloging practices and metadata standards in research data repositories through the lens of national and international scientific literature. The methodology employs a bibliographical, exploratory, and descriptive research design with a qualitative-quantitative approach, based on a literature review conducted between 2015 and 2024. The results show that out of 39 articles analyzed, only 10 were directly aligned with the research objective. Among the metadata standards observed in the analyzed works, Dublin Core, BIBFRAME, and DataCite stand out, aiming to make data machine-readable and standardize resource description, thereby facilitating their organization, access, and reuse. In conclusion, it is fundamental to foster the implementation, maintenance, and visibility of data repositories in Brazil, ensuring that scientific output remains accessible to drive the advancement of knowledge.Conference abstract published in the proceedings of TOI2026 — XII Congresso Internacional em Tecnologia e Organização da Informação. Knowledge Organization Systems have traditionally been structured based on principles of standardization, terminological control and the pursuit of objectivity in information representation. However, the presence of subjective elements in these processes reveals social and epistemological tensions that can impact the organization, retrieval and access to information. Given this context, this study aims to analyze how subjectivity has been approached in Brazilian scientific production related to Knowledge Organization Systems. Methodologically, the research is characterized as qualitative, exploratory and bibliographic, developed through a Systematic Literature Review in the BRAPCI database, selected for its relevance to Brazilian Information Science. The search strategies will be based on descriptors related to subjectivity and knowledge organization. The retrieved documents will be analyzed using thematic categories, allowing the construction of emerging analytical categories from the research corpus regarding the theoretical and methodological approaches to the topic. It is expected to contribute to the expansion of critical discussions about neutrality in knowledge representation and organization processes, highlighting the impacts of subjectivity on information access, retrieval, and appropriation.Conference abstract published in the proceedings of TOI2026 — XII Congresso Internacional em Tecnologia e Organização da Informação. This paper presents the history of the construction of the Unified Tables of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) and the National Council of the Public Prosecutor's Office (CNMP). It addresses the creation of the tables within the Public Prosecutor's Office, through Resolution No. 63, of December 1, 2010, and the implementation of Document Management through Resolutions No. 158/2017, which establishes the National Plan for Document and Memory Management, and No. 225/2021, which establishes the Classification Plan and the Retention Schedule. The method used consisted of a documentary analysis of the legal and normative acts that created and implemented the Unified Tables in the Judiciary and the Public Prosecutor's Office. The results indicate that, although the tables did not strictly follow a traditional logical/hierarchical numerical pattern of archival science, they significantly optimize procedural classification, interoperability between justice bodies, and consistency in the preparation of statistical and management reports.Conference abstract published in the proceedings of TOI2026 — XII Congresso Internacional em Tecnologia e Organização da Informação. Pattern Agency on Active Media (PAAM) 8.0.3 develops a mathematical theory of localized patterns, their stability, interaction, persistence, and agency in noisy dynamical media. The theory is constructed from a single foundational axiom: a stochastic substrate represented by a diffusion on a finite-dimensional smooth manifold with a nondegenerate noise tensor. A medium is obtained by imposing locality, homogeneity, and a symmetry group compatible with the drift and noise; its homogeneous equilibria define the background. Patterns arise as localized symmetry-breaking states whose deviation from the background decays away from a centre with a scale-independent spatial rate.
PAAM derives the structure and dynamics of such patterns from the geometry and spectrum of the underlying stochastic system rather than introducing an independent notion of individuality. The linearisation separates neutral modes associated with symmetry, internal pattern modes, and extended modes of the background. A spectral gap between internal and background modes provides a criterion for treating a localized structure as an individuated pattern. The theory further formalizes perturbation response through response functions, pattern pose and its stochastic diffusion, return-map invariants, stability boundaries, and fluctuation growth near fold, flip, and Neimark–Sacker instabilities.
PAAM distinguishes two notions of energetic or informational cost: path irreversibility supplied by the stochastic substrate and thermodynamic dissipation requiring an explicitly declared physical embedding. On this basis, persistence, maintenance, and agency are defined without identifying agency with irreversibility alone. The framework also treats pattern birth, escape, dissolution, fading, division, lineage, interaction, binding, pinning, and motion, including their dependence on noise, control parameters, symmetry, and background dynamics.
The theory is formulated to separate mathematical consequences of the substrate and medium from hypotheses, model-dependent embeddings, and experimentally testable claims. It therefore provides a common mathematical language for analysing localized structures across stochastic physical, chemical, biological, and other dynamical systems, while making explicit which properties follow from the formalism and which require additional empirical assumptions.
