PANDAS and PANS are paediatric neuropsychiatric constructs, with limited evidence for related patterns in adulthood. We examined whether current antistreptolysin O (ASO) titres covaried with PANS/PANDAS-relevant symptoms in 50 psychiatric patients aged 18–34 years selected using a pragmatic history consistent with previous streptococcal exposure. Participants completed an investigator-adapted Romanian PANS 31-item symptom rating scale; routine EEG and clinical covariates were recorded. Continuous ASO was analysed against the total score and ten study-defined domains using Spearman correlations, bootstrap confidence intervals and Benjamini–Hochberg correction; item-level and clinical-context analyses were exploratory. ASO showed a modest association with the total score (rho=0.305, p=0.031), whereas the ≥200-IU/mL contrast was nonsignificant and the association attenuated after adjustment for paediatric psychiatric history. The strongest multiplicity-robust associations involved tics (rho=0.496, q=0.0025) and cognitive/motor symptoms (rho=0.421, q=0.0117); vocal tics were the only item surviving correction across 31 items. Higher ASO was also associated with paediatric psychiatric history and recorded autoimmune pathology, while routine EEG did not independently converge with symptom findings. Total-scale internal consistency was low (alpha=0.535). These cross-sectional findings support a narrow, hypothesis-generating association between streptococcal seroreactivity and selected PANS/PANDAS-relevant symptom dimensions in young adults, but do not establish adult PANDAS, active neuroinflammation, or ASO as a diagnostic biomarker.

Traditional deep learning architectures relying on standard affine layers partition the representation space into unbounded polyhedral regions, which inherently introduce systemic structural vulnerabilities when learning complex, non-convex data manifolds. To resolve these limitations, we introduce an alternative ``bounded-by-design'' geometric framework that completely moves beyond traditional affine transformations. By replacing hyperplanes entirely with variable-radius ball coverings, we reformulate layer mechanics around the fundamental metric of a feature point's proximity to localized multi-spherical anchor centers. Crucially, by mapping this distance metric directly onto localized, parallel inner products, the formulation fully preserves standard batch-level GPU parallelization performance without higher-order computational overhead. Mathematical and visual validation demonstrates that our bounded formulation effectively encapsulates complex topological boundaries, eliminates representational redundancy in empty background spaces, and structurally stabilizes error propagation at the mathematical root.

This two minute video introduces the ARIADNE Research Infrastructure AISBL, a non-profit organisation which is integrating archaeological metadata into its Portal in order to make the data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reussable (FAIR). There are more than 4 million resources in the Portal relating to excavations, sites, monuments and artefacts which can be searched using a combination of "What", "Where" and "When". The data schema used for the metadata is based on the CIDOC CRM. The video also explains what is required for a data provider to upload their data into the Portal, i.e. for "What", subject matter using the Getty Arts and Architecture thesaurus (AAT), for "Where" longitude and latitude co-ordinates and for "When" a defined time period using PeriodO.

Source code and reproducibility metadata accompanying the submission draft Candidate Design, Not Predictor Accuracy, Limits Neural-Operator Control in a PDE Benchmark, by Hyojin Park and Jinhong Yang. Version 1.2.0 adds candidate-design control experiments, saved timing-stage analyses, and observer/operator error diagnostics while preserving the primary evaluation and earlier evidence. Source commit: 0cd51a5738f2b4daa4be57af6e51d432da712995. GitHub release: https://github.com/Jinhong-Yang/pdno-control-benchmark/releases/tag/v1.2.0 . This Zenodo deposit contains four core files: source ZIP, evidence manifest, checksum list, and scope guide. Large raw outcomes, trajectories, checkpoints and timing arrays remain on the versioned GitHub releases; eleven v1.1.0 evidence archives are explicit external dependencies. CPU arithmetic reconstruction, archived CUDA gate replay, and fresh GPU experimentation have distinct scopes. The source archive excludes manuscript sources, IEEE templates and author portraits. The manuscript is a submission draft, not an accepted publication. License: Apache-2.0.
