R code for the analyses and analytical figures in “A Connectivity Window for Perennial Grass Recovery in Drylands.” The archive includes paired seedling regressions for 2021 and 2022, an omnibus perennial grass cover mixed model for 2021–2023, a late-years cover mixed model for 2022–2023, exploratory BOER and non-BOER cover models, figure preparation, and fixed-effect results tables. Data are deposited separately in the Environmental Data Initiative (EDI). The README documents expected input filenames and columns, script dependencies, model conventions, package versions, and discrepancies between manuscript V6 wording and its underlying scripts/graphics. No data files are included in this code deposit.

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 calls for a reorientation of Indian education from content-heavy and examination-driven learning towards education that develops conceptual understanding, competencies, values, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and the capacity to apply knowledge. However, a policy commitment to competency-based education (CBE) does not automatically explain how learning outcomes should be reconceptualised at the classroom level. This paper addresses that conceptual problem by examining the relationship among curriculum, pedagogy, competency development and assessment under NEP 2020. An integrative conceptual review and policy analysis was undertaken using NEP 2020, the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCFSE) 2023, PARAKH assessment initiatives, the OECD Learning Compass 2030, and selected peer-reviewed and scholarly literature on competency-based education. The analysis identifies four interdependent dimensions of the transition: (i) knowledge as a foundation rather than an end point, (ii) competencies as the capacity to mobilise knowledge, skills, attitudes and values, (iii) pedagogy as the process through which learners apply and transfer learning, and (iv) assessment as the evidence system through which demonstrated learning becomes visible. On this basis, the paper proposes an original conceptual framework for redefining learning outcomes as demonstrated, transferable and context-sensitive performance rather than mere coverage or recall of content. The framework connects educational goals, curriculum, pedagogy, learner engagement, authentic evidence and feedback in a single outcome pathway. The paper argues that CBE under NEP 2020 should not be reduced to changing question formats; it requires alignment among intended outcomes, learning experiences and evidence of competence. The paper concludes with implementation implications for teachers, curriculum developers, school leaders and assessment bodies, and identifies directions for future empirical research.

Analysis-ready aggregate data for a systematic review and meta-analysis comparing decompressive craniectomy more than 48 hours versus within 48 hours after onset in malignant middle cerebral artery infarction. Version 3 contains data and provenance records only.Contents: two-by-two counts for mortality (14 studies) and unfavorable functional outcome (12 studies) with exposure stratum, analysis role, outcome horizon and derivation; a cell-level provenance file giving, for every analyzed count, the extraction-workbook cell(s), their verbatim content and the arithmetic applied; arm-level counts by timing midpoint; and dual ROBINS-I ratings.Primary analysis (onset-to-surgery MCA cohorts; REML random effects with the modified Hartung-Knapp adjustment): mortality OR 1.136 (95% CI 0.705-1.832; k = 12; N = 585); unfavorable function OR 1.370 (0.812-2.313; k = 10; N = 511). Including the admission-timed administrative cohort and the mixed-territory cohort: 1.025 (0.800-1.314; k = 14) and 1.133 (0.896-1.434; k = 12).Changes from version 2: primary analysis restricted to onset-timed MCA cohorts; Shen 2024 mortality added; cell-level provenance added; figures and scripts removed.

Abstract: Seasonal influenza remains one of the most widespread acute respiratory viral infections and represents a significant public health challenge worldwide. The disease is characterized by recurrent seasonal epidemics, rapid person-to-person transmission, considerable morbidity, temporary disability, hospitalization, and mortality among vulnerable population groups. Influenza activity is strongly influenced by climatic conditions, population density, human behavior, school and workplace contacts, indoor crowding, host immunity, and the genetic variability of circulating influenza viruses. In temperate regions, influenza epidemics are usually observed during the colder months of the year, whereas in tropical and subtropical regions viral circulation may occur throughout the year with one or more periods of increased activity. The aim of this article is to analyze the major epidemiological features of the seasonal spread of influenza and to summarize effective preventive measures. A narrative review of current recommendations and scientific literature was conducted, with particular attention to World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance. The findings demonstrate that annual influenza vaccination remains the principal preventive strategy. Additional measures, including respiratory hygiene, regular handwashing, adequate indoor ventilation, early isolation of symptomatic individuals, avoidance of close contact with infected persons, and epidemiological surveillance, play an important role in reducing influenza transmission. An integrated approach combining vaccination, individual protective behavior, infection-control measures, and public health surveillance is essential for reducing the seasonal burden of influenza.

This record contains supplementary material for the OWL serialization ontology in Turtle syntax. The domain of this material is Industry 5.0. It documents both the prompt given to a Large Language Model (LLM) and the model-generated response. The prompt focuses on developing a full ontology in Turtle syntax from the conceptual model and to address five aspects: (a) ontology metadata including the ontology IRI and version information and Dublin Core annotations; (b) naming and labeling conventions based on numeric identifiers; (c) imports of the upper ontologies BFO and RO and IAO and oboInOwl; (d) ontology design principles; and (e) output requirements including marker strings that delimit the generated triples. The material is provided to support transparency, reproducibility and traceability of the LLM-assisted ontology engineering process.
