As the EU expands data sharing through the Data Act and the European Health Data Space Regulation, a critical governance gap is emerging: what happens when unlawful data has already been embedded in datasets or AI models?
Once it's been combined, reused, or embedded into datasets or machine learning models, the problem doesn't stay contained. It spreads. Two technical mechanisms with which this challenge can be tackled are Data provenance and Machine unlearning. Together, these approaches offer a pathway to traceability, accountability, and targeted remediation in complex data ecosystems without undermining the goals of the European data strategy.
In this keynote, we explore how these two approaches could help close that gap - and why they matter for the future of Europe's data economy.

This research paper examines the role of Zari embroidery in empowering rural women in Berasia, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh). Zari embroidery is known as traditional craft practiced in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. It creates opportunities for the women to earn their livelihood as well as preserve their cultural heritage. Findings of this study reveal that Zari embroidery enhances women’s financial independence, social inclusion, and cultural identity through skill development and training offered by self-help groups (SHGs). Profound studies of some literatures, government and non government organization reports confirm that women engaged in Zari work demonstrate higher self-esteem, improved leadership abilities, and strengthened economic stability. In spite of these advantages Zari Embroidery skilled women face challenges such as restricted mobility, limited market access, and inadequate institutional support. The study recommends targeted interventions in training, marketing, and policy frameworks to enhance the overall empowerment of women through Zari Embroidery.

This article examines the theoretical and legal foundations of evaluating digital evidence in courts through the prism of the interconnection among the criteria of admissibility, relevance, and reliability. It analyzes the specific attributes that distinguish digital evidence from traditional forms, alongside the legal challenges arising during its creation, storage, extraction, modification, and presentation before the court. The article reviews the procedural framework for digital evidence established in the legislation of Uzbekistan, focusing on procedural norms governing collection, presentation, preservation, examination, verification, storage, and evaluation. Furthermore, it argues that digital evidence must be appraised not merely on the ground of its electronic existence, but rather in light of its relevance to the case, lawfulness of acquisition, authenticity of source, integrity, lack of alteration, and consistency with the overall body of evidence. The author proposes a three-stage judicial evaluation model and advances recommendations for improving procedural standards that document the provenance and integrity of digital evidence.

Core Overview
The paper is an academic Perspective article titled "Sequencing Effects in the AGI–Quantum Convergence: A Scenario-Based Framework for Anticipating Civilizational Divergence". Written by Isaac Khor Eng Gian as an independent researcher based in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Malaysia, the paper explores the critical policy and technological intersections between Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computing.
The central argument is that the relative sequencing (which technology matures first) is a highly consequential governance variable that will profoundly alter how scientific, economic, and strategic advantages are concentrated or distributed globally.
Key Architectural Baseline
To keep the analysis grounded in systems engineering rather than pure science fiction, the author builds the paper upon a concrete, conservative computational stack:
GPU–ASIC–Quantum Architecture: Quantum processing units (QPUs) are modeled strictly as narrow, episodic heuristic accelerators rather than universal replacements for classical chips.
Orchestration & Selectivity: They are invoked infrequently within predominantly classical AI loops to handle isolated combinatorial optimization (QUBO/Ising representations) or sampling subproblems.
Empirical Fallback: An intelligent orchestration layer evaluates performance empirically and instantly falls back to classical optimization algorithms if the quantum path fails to yield a reproducible speedup.
The Two Strategic Scenarios
The paper contrasts two different structural futures to understand how research throughput and institutional visibility change depending on arrival sequence:
🌐 Scenario A: Quantum Maturation Arrives First
The Premise: Narrow AI continues to assist with quantum calibration and error decoding, but true general cross-domain reasoning remains unachieved. Quantum systems mature via human-led research.
The Outcome: High concentration of strategic advantage remains heavily clustered around capital-intensive physical infrastructure, state-backed national initiatives, and massive foundational entities that can handle expensive cryogenics and fabrication facilities.
Access Model: A tiered structure dictates power, distributed between frontier hardware manufacturers, privileged cloud-access brokers, and software application developers.
🧠 Scenario B: AGI Emerges First
The Premise: An AI model achieves robust, cross-domain autonomous reasoning capabilities and is hooked directly into closed-loop robotic laboratories and hardware design workflows.
The Outcome: The research bottleneck shifts entirely from human cognitive processing limits to the speed of physical experimentation. A rapid "intelligence-constrained acceleration" feedback loopemerges where AGI accelerates quantum hardware design, which in turn offers enhanced computational power to expand scientific discovery.
Access Model: Control shifts from pure hardware ownership to ownership of frontier reasoning software, autonomous laboratory permissions, and institutional deployment choices, making it less visible or legibly governed by traditional export/licensing rules.
Strategic Prescriptions for Non-Frontier Economies
The paper explicitly addresses ideal moves for technology-dependent or middle-tier economies (specifically pointing to Malaysia and the ASEAN region) that do not directly manufacture frontier AI or quantum hardware:
Master the Hybrid Convergence Layer: Focus national capability on the software orchestration tier—developing skills in workload decomposition, workflow optimization, and classical fallback deployment.
De-risk Post-Quantum Migration: Treat post-quantum cryptography (PQC) migration as an immediate necessity. The paper specifically references prepping infrastructure for finalised NIST standards (FIPS 203, 204, and 205) as well as tracking emerging candidates like HQC.
Govern Autonomous Scientific Agency: Expand active tech governance beyond content moderation or text models to establish protocols on what physical experiments an autonomous AGI system is allowed to design, execute, and iterate in a laboratory setting.
