Este estudo analisou o papel do Fair Play na formação do carácter estudantil, com foco nas aulas de Educação Física na Escola Secundária de Carapira. A pesquisa buscou responder como o Fair Play é promovido nesse contexto e qual seu impacto na construção de valores éticos nos alunos. O objectivo principal foi avaliar a influência do Fair Play na formação comportamental dos estudantes. Metodologicamente, adoptou-se uma abordagem mista, combinando a pesquisa quantitativa e qualitativa, utilizando questionários aplicados aos alunos, e entrevistas com professores  de  Educação  Física.  Quanto  aos  objectivos  a  pesquisa  é caracterizada  como explicativa e quanto aos procedimentos recorreu-se a pesquisa do tipo estudo de caso.  Os resultados indicaram que, apesar de o Fair Play ser reconhecido como um princípio fundamental para a convivência escolar, sua aplicação ainda enfrenta desafios, como a falta de incentivo contínuo e dificuldades na internalização dos valores pelos alunos. Concluiu-se que o Fair Play contribui significativamente para o desenvolvimento da ética, do respeito e da cooperação, sendo essencial uma abordagem pedagógica mais estruturada e contínua. Recomenda-se a capacitação  docente,  o  fortalecimento  das  práticas  pedagógicas  voltadas  para  a  ética  no desporto e maior envolvimento da comunidade escolar na promoção desses valores. Palavras-chave: Fair Play, Educação Física, Formação do carácter, Valores éticos.

This academic review examines Small-Scale Fisheries in Europe: Status, Resilience and Governance, edited by José J. Pascual-Fernández, Cristina Pita and Maarten Bavinck and published in 2020. From a maritime anthropology perspective, it discusses the volume’s contribution to understanding small-scale fisheries as livelihoods embedded in coastal communities, shaped by cultural practices and unequal access to marine resources. The review outlines the book’s structure and main arguments, with particular attention to the European Union’s Common Fisheries Policy, fishing rights and political representation. It also considers women’s work, generational renewal and competition for coastal and marine space associated with tourism and the blue economy. Selected country cases illustrate the diversity of European small-scale fisheries and the limitations of uniform administrative definitions. The critical assessment addresses the breadth of the comparative approach, the inclusion of fishing organisations and the emphasis on social dimensions of governance. It also discusses uneven evidence across country chapters and the constraints of institutional classifications. A further section considers the book’s citation in the European Parliament’s resolution of 19 January 2023 on small-scale fisheries. The review argues for greater attention to participation and social justice in fisheries governance, while highlighting the volume’s relevance to researchers, policymakers and fishing communities. Introduction. The use of wheat-hemp-sesame flour in the production of bakery products opens up new opportunities for creating products with improved characteristics. Wheat flour provides the necessary structural and mechanical properties of the dough and the consumer qualities of the products, while hemp and sesame flour enrich the products with biologically active substances. The aim of the work is to develop a recipe for a sliced loaf with increased nutritional value using composite wheat-hemp-sesame flour. Materials and Methods. The main raw material used in the study was wheat‑hemp‑sesame flour in the following ratios: 95:2.5:2.5, 90:5:5, 85:7.5:7.5, 80:10:10. At the same time, the total content of hemp and sesame flour was 5 %, 10, 15 and 20 %, respectively. Results. In terms of organoleptic characteristics, sample № 2 of sliced loaf with the addition of 10 % hemp-sesame flour was found to be the best – compared to the control sample. At the same time, sample № 4 had a clearly pronounced bitterness, so it is not recommended to add more than 15 % of composite flour to the recipe. The developed recipe and production technology for sliced loaf made from enriched wheat-hemp-sesame flour with various component ratios. Conclusion. It has been established that samples of sliced loaf made from wheat-hemp-sesame flour have a good marketable appearance and differ from classic products in having higher nutritional value. Therefore, they can be recommended for implementation in production at existing baking enterprises.
