ChinaTD30 is an annual 30 m tree density dataset for China covering the period 1985-2022. Tree density is expressed as stems ha−1. The dataset provides spatially explicit annual estimates of tree abundance across both forest and non-forest areas.
ChinaTD30 was developed using four periods of China's National Forest Inventory observations, representing approximately 2003, 2008, 2013, and 2018, together with a Random Forest modelling framework. The predictor set integrates annual Landsat observations and vegetation indices with forest age, land cover, forest cover, climatic, topographic, and soil covariates.
The complete ChinaTD30 release contains 38 annual tree-density maps and 38 corresponding annual uncertainty maps for 1985-2022. Each layer is distributed as a GeoTIFF at 30 m spatial resolution. Tree-density values are stored as rounded integer values while retaining the scientific unit of stems ha−1.
This Zenodo record is Part 2 of 9 of the complete ChinaTD30 dataset and contains annual tree-density and uncertainty layers for the following years: 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994.
Tree-density files follow the naming convention ChinaTD30_YYYY.tif. Uncertainty files follow uncertainty_YYYY.tif.
ChinaTD30 is intended to support analyses of long-term tree-density dynamics, forest and non-forest tree distribution, ecosystem structure, carbon-cycle research, and changes in tree abundance across China.

Abstract:
The restaurant industry has become increasingly competitive, making it essential for businesses to understand the marketing factors that influence customers’ perceived value and loyalty. This study examined the influence of the proposed 7Ps marketing mix on perceived value and customer loyalty in the Maldivian restaurant industry, with perceived value serving as a mediating variable. A quantitative research design was employed, and data were collected from 404 customers in the Maldives using a structured questionnaire. The data were analysed using descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and structural equation modelling (SEM) with AMOS. The findings revealed that physical evidence and people had significant positive effects on perceived value, whereas product, price, and place did not significantly influence perceived value. Perceived value also had a significant positive effect on customer loyalty. Furthermore, perceived value significantly mediated the relationships between physical evidence and customer loyalty and between people and customer loyalty, whereas no significant mediating effects were found for product, price, or place. During the measurement model assessment, the promotion and process constructs were excluded because they did not meet the required psychometric criteria; therefore, the final model comprised the retained marketing mix dimensions. This study contributes to the service marketing literature by providing empirical evidence from the Maldivian restaurant industry on the relationships among the retained marketing mix dimensions, perceived value, and customer loyalty. The findings also offer practical implications for restaurant managers by highlighting the importance of the physical service environment and employees’ role in service delivery in enhancing customers’ perceived value and strengthening customer loyalty.

ChinaTD30 is an annual 30 m tree-density dataset for China covering the period from 1985 to 2022. The dataset was developed using multi-period National Forest Inventory observations together with long-term Landsat imagery and other environmental variables. Tree density is expressed as the number of stems per hectare (stems ha⁻¹).The dataset provides annual tree-density estimates across China for both forest and non-forest areas, together with a corresponding uncertainty layer for each year. In total, ChinaTD30 includes 38 annual tree-density maps and 38 uncertainty maps, all provided as GeoTIFF files at 30 m spatial resolution.
Because of the large data volume, the complete dataset is divided into eight temporal parts, each published as a separate Zenodo record. This master record provides the overall description and links to all eight parts. Individual annual files can be downloaded and used independently, while the full set can be used for long-term analyses of tree-density changes across China from 1985 to 2022.
The detailed methods used to produce and validate ChinaTD30 are described in the associated research article.

This article examines, from both theoretical and empirical perspectives, the relationship between the volume and structure of green investment and the rate of economic growth. Drawing on an augmented Cobb–Douglas production function, the study assesses the contribution of green capital to gross domestic product (GDP) growth and develops three scenarios for Uzbekistan’s transition to a low-carbon economy through 2030. A system of financial, institutional, market-based and technological mechanisms for this transition is substantiated.

Local Development Councils (LDCs) are the bodies through which provinces, cities, and municipalities decide which development projects to fund. A national survey of 5,319 respondents in 458 local government units (LGUs) across 18 regions, assesses LDC functionality based on their influence on budget and development priorities, integration of Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC) monitoring and evaluation results into planning and budgeting, and challenges affecting effectiveness.
Findings show high self-reported LDC influence, with 95.6% reporting moderate-to-high influence on budget decisions. At the same time, almost a third (31.4%) said their councils use LPMC findings inconsistently or not at all in planning and budgeting. Most respondents (85.5%) identified at least one challenge that limit their Council, most often are limited CSO participation (24.4%) and poor link between plans and the budget (22.0%).
The study groups the regions into four distinct regional profiles, Needs Comprehensive Support, Active but Constrained, Needs Activation, and Established Practice, to guide differentiated institutional support.
This policy brief offers the following recommendations: (1) expand the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) assessment of LDC functionality by assessing whether Council decisions are acted upon; (2) institutionalize a national LDC technical capacity program through the Local Government Academy (LGA), with municipalities as a priority; (3) strengthen LPMC-to-LDC reporting protocols and protect participation from political capture; and (4) target support based on reported challenges, LGU context, and the four regional profiles, including peer learning between Regions IV-A and IV-B and technical support to Bangsamoro institutions for an LDC strengthening track during the transition period.
