Recurrent kidney stones require preventive care that addresses modifiable dietary and fluid-related factors. This article aims to evaluate the role of dietary modification and adequate hydration in reducing recurrence in adults. A narrative review of international guidelines, randomized trials, and observational studies was conducted. The analysis distinguished clinical recurrence from changes in urinary biochemical risk factors. Increased water intake reduced recurrence in a five-year randomized trial, while a normal-calcium diet combined with lower salt and animal protein intake performed better than a low-calcium diet in men with hypercalciuria. Additional evidence supports sodium reduction and an overall balanced dietary pattern. However, observational associations and short-term biochemical improvements do not establish the same level of evidence as clinical recurrence trials. Prevention should therefore combine an achievable fluid plan with dietary advice tailored to stone composition, metabolic findings, and comorbidities. These measures form a practical foundation for long-term management, with further treatment guided by individual risk.

This manuscript gives this framework’s account of addiction. On the framework’s coupling axis, using is a lock of the kind that constitutes love — a coupling that lowers cost, with a referent that can be re-rendered on demand — while abstinence is a coupling held at zero against a present target at continuing cost, the configuration of fear, and withdrawal is the configuration of grief. Following the companion manuscript on pain and pleasure, liking is the AVERAGE branch of the hedonic system and habituates, while wanting is the MAX branch and sensitises. Wanting is therefore copied, not diluted, along a person’s graph of recurring contexts, and because every use writes a persisting edge, the claimed part of that graph grows along its frontier and undergoes a percolation transition. Coverage — the claimed fraction of a person’s contexts — is identified as the governing variable, in place of dose or craving. The only stable exit is a different lock, and because locking obeys the Adler condition, a substitute can capture only contexts whose rhythm it matches. Where the claimed network routes through few contexts, a minimum cut exists, found by betweenness rather than by traffic. In open ecological momentary assessment data from 38 smokers attempting to quit, coverage of early contexts predicts later lapsing (ρ = 0.72) and failure to remain abstinent (AUC = 0.82) better than cigarettes per day or craving, and adds beyond the number of lapses. Predictions are stated for the threshold, the cut, rhythm match and the fading of the pull.

Subsequent mathematical derivation, connection to established physics literature, computational verification, and error-checking were conducted through extended technical work with AI systems (Anthropic’s Claude and Google’s Gemini). This manuscript gives this framework’s account of pain and pleasure, in body and mind, with plants as the comparative case. Three things usually run together are separated. Damage is a write against a region’s paid-for separation — a local instance of the event the companion manuscript on death identifies as the end of a reader. Nociception is the propagation of that event along connectivity. Pain is a reader’s reading of it, and exists only where a reader exists. The separation predicts nociception wherever living regions pay to stay separate and pain only where the reader criterion is met; nociceptive activation persisting under deep anaesthesia, and wound signalling in plants, bear this out. Damage signals in both kingdoms are triggered by content that the failed separation had held — cytosolic ATP in animals, glutamate in plants — while synthesised mediators set gain rather than trigger, which is the framework’s two-operation split. Wound signalling in plants follows vascular connectivity rather than proximity. Acute and chronic pain are shown to be the two operations, AVERAGE and MAX, rather than two intensities; sensitisation is gain at a threshold; the chronic path persists through remission and is masked rather than removed; and treatments sort by which of three routes they use to stop a path being read. Pleasure splits the same way: liking habituates and wanting sensitises. Pain in body and mind is one reader with bonds specific to their referents. Testable predictions are stated for plants, for the representation of pain types, and for treatment signatures.

This record provides the updated experimental reproducibility package for the study “A Hybrid Partition–Density Clustering Approach for Cluster Quality Enhancement under Uncertainty.”
The package contains the complete Jupyter notebook, Python implementation, experimental configuration, generated result tables, cluster profiles, validation outputs, and publication-oriented figures used in the study.
The experimental evaluation compares K-Means, Fuzzy C-Means (FCM), Trimmed K-Means, DBSCAN, and the proposed DBSCAN-assisted K-Means approach on four public energy-related datasets and one controlled synthetic dataset. The real datasets are obtained automatically from pinned public Kaggle versions, while the synthetic dataset is generated deterministically with known cluster labels and injected low-density noise. The complete Appliances Energy Prediction dataset is used without row-level subsampling.
Clustering quality is assessed using the Silhouette Score, Davies–Bouldin Index, and Calinski–Harabasz Index. Additional analyses include retained-data coverage, full-data post-reassignment validation, Adjusted Rand Index (ARI) and Normalized Mutual Information (NMI) on the synthetic dataset, noise-detection precision/recall/F1, and normalized and original-scale cluster profiles.
This updated version also includes a Trimmed K-Means robust baseline and full-data validation after reassignment of observations removed during density filtering, enabling a more balanced analysis of the trade-off between cluster quality and data coverage.
The archive is organized into code, results, and figures directories and includes a README, requirements file, citation metadata, and file manifest. Raw public datasets and manuscript source files are not redistributed; dataset source links and version information are provided for reproducibility.
